I have had to use my Android phone, with the QRcode, to access several sites the latest being Face Book on my TV (I have an Ads free package). It works perfectly on this PC but on the TV they have put up a new helpful intro system (Not! why cant they just leave it alone). Using the QRcode up comes a TotalAV 'buy it now'. I have not found a way around it !! Has anyone else had this and found a way? thanks Gary

Just picked this radio up at a car boot this morning - saw it and the stallholder said take it away for £2! how could I say no! good for spares if nothing else, but on closer inspection it could be the next restoration project as it is only missing three of the piano buttons and the magic eye valve - even the fragile backboard is intact, but have never seen this make before? does anyone recognise it? As title. Bought one in local Lidl £14.99, 3 year warranty in February. After about 12 weeks packed up pumping. Contacted lidl, a replacement was sent ups from Germany. That lasted a few weeks and then had problem of only charging 10 minutes before terminating charge. Operation was then about 40 seconds before stopping. Contacted Lidl, another sent out from Germany, arriving late July. That one has lasted until now, and now has the same charge problem. When working, they seem ok. No charger plug is supplied, just the usb lead to use your own charger. That is not the problem though. Interestingly every one has the same date of manufacture. Lidl customer service I have always found good. Seems their suppliers are the real problem in QA Rob

Decca Corner Horn with Lowther P6M This is a pre-stereo Hi Fi speaker although some have used two in stereo. Read what Hi Fi News said about it in 1957: https://www.radiomuseum.org/forum/pm6_re..._id=591530 and another article: https://www.itishifi.com/archives//2013/...1950s.html I have owned it for about 60 years and in that time the foam cone suspension and spider disintegrated but it is now fitted with modern speaker cone suspension and spider. I think it's in pretty good condition. As a piece of Hi Fi history I would like £200 for it. Been reading about Taylor Swifts Opalite video being shot on film, I presume at 24 frames a second. When shown on 50Hz TV/video would it still be sped up by 4%? Or do they use some frame store gubbins to keep the speed & tone correct? Do they still use 3/2 pulldown for 60Hz systems?
