So, my 2019 PW seems to have become very “floaty” laterally / rocks side-side like a boat over bumps on the highway. 35” tires, fox 2.0 IFP shocks, fox ats steering stabilizer, stock springs, no lift. Chassis has about 50k miles, Fox shocks only have about 25k miles. Scale weight 8200lbs with full tank of fuel, all armor, and recovery gear, so still under GVWR. Anyone else experience this? New 2026 Ram 2500 with 6.4L Hemi ordered and built this summer, picked it up about a month ago. I've owned four other cars with ZF 8HP70's, but I guess this truck gets the 8HP75, maybe just slightly different "normal behavior"? The issue I'm observing, is that when shifting from forward to reverse, the truck will want to roll or continue on the old direction if I release the brake too soon after shifting. Tried to order a SGW bypass cable from Kaodtech but the site is unresponsive. Went to send a message and vehicle year only goes to 2020. Then it wouldn't send message. Is there another vendor to obtain the bypass cable? Thanks

Picked up this afternoon. Its a 2025 2500 with the 6.4 hemi and 23k miles. Forged blue metallic and "Night Edition". I bought this as a new daily driver and a tow/work/camping truck. My other hobby is a 97 Jeep TJ wrangler that has slowly turned into my rock crawler. The truck is stock right now. Owners with Regeneration Frequency Issues: I’m going to start compiling data on the trucks experiencing regeneration frequency problems. If your 2019+ Cummins powered Ram HD is regenerating more frequently than you believe it should, or has demonstrated trouble code P2459, I’d like to get data from you. Who would be interested in a Cummins 6.7 gas if it made 450 hp at 2800 rpm and 850 lbs torque at 1800 rpm. Finally a motor without too much emmisions crap.

Looks like TFL states that there is a rumor that Cummins will be building a 7.2L diesel for a variety of reasons. Possibly for the 27 model year, but maybe sooner... By my calculations if todays HO 6.7 was swapped with the larger 7.2L with the same volumetric efficiency (same hp / tq per L). Swapping to a 7.2L would result in a 450hp / 1155ft/lbs. So with some tweaking, better airflow the engine probably will match or exceed the power output of the 6.7 ford. But another way to... Read more

Hello all, just got my first RAM 2500 with the 6.4 HEMI. Doing strictly highway driving I haven’t been able to get better than 15 mpg, is there anything I can be doing to improve this?

I’m noticing a hum coming from the rear axle that starts around 74 mph and becomes very noticeable by 80 mph—especially when letting off the throttle, which makes me think its the pinion gears as riding the backside of the gears increases noise. The truck only has ~400 miles on it. Has anyone else experienced something similar? I know it’s under warranty—I’m calling the dealer tomorrow to set up an appointment. On some other forum I have seen a lot of discussion on the use of 5w-30 weight oils in our engines, a bunch of stuff about quieting hemi tick, all kinds of stuff about which oil filter is best. What are your guys thoughts on this, which oil is best to use, who makes the best filters?
