Hi....I am currently building a new home on the southern shore of Lake Ontario in WNY. I have purchased a PE Alderlea T5 to be installed in the living room. I have plans to place an HVAC intake near the stove to utilize the fan function to redistribute the warm air near the stove when I have a fire going throughout this 2,050 SF Cape Cod, so I think I have the issue of uneven temperatures in the house at least partially mitigated. Good afternoon to all! ISO some feedback on chimney work. Getting a new roof put on the house and want to address any chimney concerns before the roof goes on. There are two flues, one for the oil boiler and one for the fireplace. The Oil boiler flue was relined recently. The Fireplace flue was not. I just acquired two of these: one blue and one red. A friend is getting the red one, and I'm keeping the blue one. Neither stove has any cracks in the castings. Both stoves need the inner firebox shields replaced. I've read about these stoves until my eyes bled. I have used a fluorescent drop light in a dark room to test for leaks in the stove's cement. I'm looking at buying and restoring an older King King. Can someone tell me about the KEJ-1107 compared to the earlier 1101 and 1102 models. Is it worth holding out for a 1107 since I'm not in a hurry?

Good day! So we put a steel roof on two years ago or so (time flies), I replaced our metal shroud with the silicone boot provided by the manufacturer. First season was fine, but likely some damage from sliding snow has caused a very small leak in a very specific place. Hello, I have an older Mt Vernon standalone pellet stove. It has a firepot that has seen better years and is in need of TLC. It is gradually getting worse on the edge as shown in the picture. I know it needs repair or swapping out but was wondering how excited I needed to be about getting it done. Folks I need some help. Family gave me a King K31C and it is missing its flame shield assembly based on the parts list. We cannot figure out what it looks like or how it was mounted in the stove. I have searched and searched and we have poured over pictures looking for mounting parts. Can anyone help?? Doug

I have a hearthstone shelburne in my masonry fireplace, connected to flexible stainless steel liner. Chimney is 25ft and not feasible to clean from the top. To connect the stove to the liner/adapter, the installer used single wall stovepipe cut to length. The stove was pushed into place along with the straight single wall stovepipe. I won’t be able to easily disconnect the stove to clean out the flue or the catalysts, and ideally I’d like to reposition the stove a little to get it centered... Read more
