Okay folks, so I've never owned a Jeep but I have a buddy who has a 2D Wrangler that I've taken out a few times and loved every minute. I live in an area where we don't have a lot of trails and the ones within an hour are either considered "Easy" (Dirt road, low water crossings, etc.) or "Hard" (Huge mud holes, slick clay mud, etc). I have a 2024 Gladiator Sport S, I added new Rims with -25 offset, then 3.5“ lift Barricade bumper and open road winch, I used a Tazer Mini to adjust for tire size. I noticed the pick up was a bit sluggish, was hunting constantly for 7 and 8th gears. Mileage was between 15.5 and 17.5, I finally got my regear to .488 with Yukon gears and I added front and rear lockers. I am through my break-in mileage and already changed out the fluid. I used my Tazer Mini to update the gears. I hope to... Regear after 35” tires - Very Pleased with the results

How can a mojave and willys be priced the same??? And is it just me or is carvana a hell of alot cheaper then dealerships any day of the week.

I've been doing some reading and listening to YouTube. Thinking about switching to 5W30 to try to avoid eventual 3.6 tick. I'm beyond warranty and just can't afford the @Gvsukids engine replacement. I've been seeing 0W20 was just implemented as a cost savings measure for FCA and the 3.6 and 5.7 tops are much happier with 5W30. I understand oil is very controversial amongst the very informed. Since I'm not informed, I'm looking for opinions.

A traditional soft tonneau cover has always fit my daily use best, providing weather protection for stuff in the bed, with the ability to easily have full open bed use. Now with two kids and a dog, I really wanted a cap for the dog, but I don't like the look of a full time cap, and I did not want to give up the ability to have an open bed to fit tall, bulky items, dump runs, etc. I liked the convenience of pulling up a soft cap when needed, but I didn't want to be stuck with an open bed... Anyone got any tips for cleaning up a steel bumper after some jack leg scuffed it? No note or anything I know it's minor but still ticks me off. Folks just have no respect for other peoples stuff anymore
