As a total FM Nerd going to agree with the previous poster about the usefulness of using wave tables with FM. However I also think this being 8 operators opens up some options. First in FM each operator is essentially its own independent synth, so each carrier can essentially become just a standard wavetable synth that you can then layer with more traditional FM using the others. I am envisioning for example a Wavetable Operator just playing a wavetable while you have a DX7 style patch using 6 other operators. This to me makes your plugin extremely interesting and makes me want to buy it Might I suggest a few things if you haven't done so already. I admit I haven't explored this more than a few minutes in my browser Also you can embrace the Spectrasonics Omnisphere 3 methodology of a Wavetable also being used as just a depository of single cycle waveforms that are not intended to be swept through. So for example you could have an SY77 "wavetable" but it's used a depository for the basic waveforms used in the SY77 operators. So you would pull the SY77 wavetable up and just select one and use it. This would really open up the FM possibilities with the wavetable engine. I already do this with Phaseplant with not only SY77, but the original PPG Wavetables, Prophet VS waveforms, and some of the JD800/990 waveforms . Hi all, I’ve been using MainStage live for years and always missed one thing: an easy way to trigger MIDI and audio phrases from my keyboard and keep them properly locked to tempo. So I started building something for myself. It got a little out of hand. StagePhrase is now split into two apps: StagePhrase Audio trigger audio phrases, loops and one-shots note or chord triggers quantized starts MIDI Clock / host tempo sync Late Trigger / Offset Start scenes and repeat modes StagePhrase MIDI FX piano roll live recording / overdub quantize and loop recording note + chord triggering Ghost Notes for late starts CC, sustain and pitch bend MIDI stacks and IAC routing One thing I really like is that the MIDI FX can also trigger phrases in StagePhrase Audio, so I can sequence things like guitar/backing parts without needing Ableton for it. I’ve put out a first public beta for macOS and I’m mainly looking for people who actually play live and are willing to test it. Hi sensyb! Thank you for your message. I've now updated my website copy to the following which also serves as a message to readers here: A Korg Kronos 3 or Kronos 2 (61, 73, or 88 key). I develop and test on the Kronos 3, and Kronos 2 owners use it too and tell me it works fine. It has not been tested on the original Kronos, so compatibility with that is not claimed or supported. So, until I'm able to purchase a Kronos 2 and Kronos 1, I rely on my epic customers to let me know if the app works on their devices. I have a Kronos 3 so I'm able to test on that. I haven't tested on Golden Gate yet but will update here once I'm sure the editor is working perfectly.

I really enjoy Zebra 3. But the "clinical" comment got me thinking. There's an option in Hive to chose different engines. Like Clean, Neutral, Dirty. How would one emulate the dirty one in Zebra 3? Dirty: Introduces an oversampled self-oscillating Steiner-Parker diode ring filter (similar to the Korg MS-20). It features an evenly spaced oscillator detune, exponential envelopes, and a darker, veiled tone with heavier bass and added distortion across unique filter modes like comb and dissonant Yeah, sometimes bass can get "muddier" in Dirty, and that can also be desirable for very warm analog emulation.
