All 6 bolts snapped off from my rear carrier. I tried drilling out the broken bolts under jack stands. I got one and it was a no go. I used $200 Norseman HSS and another Cobalt bits which are the hardest drill bits. They burned. The reverse ez out bits also snapped off. Porsche does not sell just the hub, you need to purchase the entire rear carrier. I have a PTV+ locking so it’s about $5k+ and used was non existent. I marked the shaft, bolt and hub for placement reference marks. Then... My rear carrier bolts completely snapped off.

'23 Macan. I was parking and the car lurched, took off, and wouldn't stop until a tire blew. It was the scariest thing as I almost hit people on the sidewalk in front of the parking spot and I nearly plowed into a storefront. Porsche says nothing showed up on the 'black box' but the video I have shows the car taking off. And no, my foot didn't fall off the brake onto the accelerator and I had plenty of time and distance to stop had that happened. I was in full control of the steering so... Acceleration/Brake Issues

Has anyone experienced involuntary acceleration? While parking my 2023 Macan GTS, instead of coming to a full stop, the car wouldn't stop and kept accelerating. I hit a lamppost. No park assist or warning came on.

Anyone had trouble with their Auto Start/Stop? The auto start/stop on my 2023 Macan T mostly does not work. I was talking to my Service Manager and he thought that I may have a weak battery. It never occurred to me that a weak battery might be the cause of the fail. He suggested that if the battery voltage was too low that the vehicle would not shut off because then it might not start. I did an extended drive today so I watched the voltage readout for most of the day. Did some long highway... Weak battery causing auto/start stop fail?

normally my 2014 macan diesel s only displays current tyre pressures on the tpms screen however recently first one rear then the other displayed in a new additional screen as being -4 or -6 when i go to the correct tpms screen all pressures are the same is this just a fault code on tpms can i just change the battery on the tpms units or do i need to fit new ones and will they need to be coded

I have a Porsche Macan GTS 2017 and it has the button for the active/sports exhaust. I’ve seen this setup before in other cars but when i press it the sound doesn’t seem to change at all. From what i remember from the other setups i’ve seen the sound was quite noticeable. I also saw this video on youtube with a guy showing it, it’s here [ . In this video he shows that when he presses the button the flaps in the exhaust open and when he disables it, the flaps... Can someone please explain how the active exhaust works ?

Just to clarify something about bore scoring: this is not an issue unique to Porsche, nor is it limited to the 2015–2018 Macan or even the Macan model itself. Purchased my 2016 Turbo earlier this year. About 95k miles. Could use new tires but that's not the concern at this time. It's been a hot summer and I never really paid any attention on start up. Now that it's cooler (72 degrees) I'm looking at my dash while I turn on the heated seats and steering wheel. I've noticed my oil pressure is pegged out at 70psi. I wait to let the engine warm up. Not until my engine temperature is 200 degrees and my oil temperature is above 210 degrees does... High Oil Pressure on cool morning startup - Resolved
