I've had breast anxiety for years and every time I've checked them I've found something. So eventually I stopped checking. It causes me too much stress. I know we're told to check them regularly but the anxiety and fear just sends me spiraling. And of course I panic every so often because I'm not checking them, what if there's something there and I'm missing it. Are there others on here who have this same fear? Do ye all check them regularly?

Well, we're coming up on the time of year where I have to go get another CT scan to make sure the cyst on my pancreas hasn't changed. I see my primary care doc next Thursday, she submits it to my insurance company for approval, I get the scan, then I wait. Problem is my guts are an absolute mess right now, which I want to believe is a result of my increasing anxiety over what I know is coming, plus the fact that I've spent the last 2.5 years, since first finding out about the cyst, completely hyper-fixated on my digestive system. I have no concept of "normal" anymore and I don't remember when I last had a bowel movement that wasn't terrifying. It feels like they're all too soft, leave too much on the side of the bowl when I flush, don't come out completely, etc. (I know that's gross. I'm so sorry.) I feel like the only time I was actually having *good* ones is when I was taking the Target brand of sugar-free Metamucil, but I ran out of that about two months ago and have tried two other brands since - currently using name-brand Metamucil - and it's like I'm taking nothing. I've also been getting frequent heartburn, intestinal cramps with urgency on occasion, lots of gurgling, bloating/gas, etc. All of this is stuff I've experienced for years, but being so fixated on it has made it seem worse. I even woke up last night out of sleep with awful stomach cramps and was afraid I'd have to run to the bathroom (I didn't, thankfully). I also, for the last 2.5 years, have felt that pain
Hi there, I have been in a flare up with my health anxiety for some months now and also had a stressful time of it with moving home and being a full time parent to a child with additional needs. In our new flat the lock on the bathroom door is a bolt one and my son will just burst in and the lock comes off so I have been suffering with a lot of constipation over the past month or so as I can only go when hes at school or asleep so I have been holding it in at times. Today I woke up desperate to go so went and I had some yellowy mucus. For about the past week or so I have experienced some pain when going and itchiness. Even though I went about 6 hours ago my bum feels slightly wet like theres still a bit of discharge. I also have some stomach pain today and burning sensation in throat. I have been getting some discharge here and there for about a month. I am really starting to freak out so getting all my classic anxiety symptoms as well like dizziness and tingling. Anyone ever had anal discharge? I am so scared it may be bowel cancer or anal cancer. Can anyone relate? Its just one thing after another at the moment. Please reply, Thank. Xx
I recently discovered a lump just my collar bone on the left hand side, it moves under my fingers and is sitting just below the bone, I googled and have scared myself silly. As it says this is the place where a lump would be for either lymphoma or where cancer has spread to from elsewhere in the body. It feels like a pea. Anyone else had this before? To add I havnt been unwell.

My anxiety never went away but I thought Id finally found a form of confidence that helped me cope. I worked on the internal side to me. But what if that doesnt matter if everyone around you causes unnecessary issues. I was harassed severely by a genuinely narcissistic neighbour. Like subtly vandalising my property in a way that I couldnt prove, when I got a ring door bell she bought a lazer to trigger the motion sensor to let it film record nothing then vandalise without being filmed. Going into my garden in the early morning and smoking crack and having the smell come into my house and leaving dog mess on my mat. The less reaction I gave the more the effort went into harassment. I have no footage of this so nothing could be done but a very kind police officer took pity and told the council to move me. Then I have a drug addict sibling who was severely abusive to me as a kid basically because I was born with a condition (nearly died) and my sibling was jealous of the attention I got. That is basically my siblings source of trauma and has needed constant validation since and has sold the immediate family out for it and the consequences of that has been his excuse to justify victim mentality that my sibling makes the reason to allow bullying, manipulation and emotional blackmail. The drug addiction has made it worse and my sibling has burned bridges. My sibling said something unforgivable but expects me to ignore it and is asking why I dont message. Asking me to come over
I went to the dentist on Wednesday for a check up, which I absolutely hate because I have the worst teeth going in terms of always needing something done, but needs must. Nothing wrong this time but the obsession I have before and after with my teeth is horrible. She has told me before that I have decay forming on the backs of my front teeth but minor so a watch and wait process just now. But I’ve become so obsessed taking photos etc that since Wednesday (ironically) I’ve had weird pressure and zaps along my front teeth and I’m constantly thinking about it. I’m trying to distract myself by playing games and had a few glasses of wine over the weekend which does help to relax me. But just there I got a massive zap in it and I’m like omg it’s decaying and the nerve is dying and I’m gonna have to pay thousands to save it. It’s subconsciously in the back of my head and I’m never not thinking about this pressure tingle feeling. I’m scared that I’m gonna lose a front tooth even though she gave me the all clear on Wednesday. I’m also biting the skin on my lip with said tooth which I don’t notice I’m doing. Does it sound like I’m imagining pain?
Hi i’m 37 years old with a history of anxiety/cardiophobia. I’ve had a few normal cardiac checks (ECG, 24 hour monitor, and several GP's listening to my heart at different appointments) Today, after walking quite a lot, I sat down on a bench and called my mother. While sitting and talking to her, I suddenly had two very sharp, painful stabbing pains in the center of my chest, about 10 seconds apart. Each one lasted only 1–2 seconds, but they were quite painful and made me say “ouch.” The pain completely disappeared afterwards. I did not have persistent chest pain, sweating, nausea, or pain radiating to my arm/jaw. Because I was very scared, I called an ambulance. After triage, they did not consider it an acute emergency. I also called the GP service, explained the same symptoms, and they also did not think I needed emergency assessment. They advised me to take it easy and said I could contact my own GP after the weekend if I wanted to. Interestingly, I had a very similar single sharp chest stab last week, also after walking and while talking on the phone. Has anyone experienced very brief (1–2 second), very sharp/stabbing chest pains like this, particularly in the context of anxiety, muscle tension, breathing changes, or after walking? Or should i actually be worried??
Sorry, I'm not sure where to post this but I'm just wondering if other people are having problems with the website lately. It's very very slow loading for me, sometimes pages aren't even loading right. Every time I click on a link it just sits there spinning for ages.Is it the same for everyone else or is there something wrong at my end?
