I inherited this from my brother,it had many problems but now hopefully the last one is the gear selection panel lights do not light up, it's separate display from the speedo,all the bulbs are new continuity on the wiring switch to panel is good, ecu new and working any ideas?

I’m working on my buddy’s 2008 Polaris sportsman 500 HO pretty sure it’s EFI, he had it worked on and rode it 30 minutes and put it up, got it out to ride again and had no power to display, there fore would not crank , I’ve installed a new battery, bypassed hand controls with a jumper wire, still nothing, thought it was solenoid but was able to cross post and it would turn over, I have power to the main fuse and Speedo, nothing to accessory port, any insight ?

I am from Southern Kentucky and have had bikes my whole life, but had help working on them if needed. I purchased the bike from a friend who didnt have time to work on it. The bike will not start but will crank. The spark plug is new but not been gapped yet. It is also needing the air box. What can I do first to try to get it started? I dont want to cause any damage and need some advice thank you.

Hello all, I'm hoping you can help me diagnose and fix a hanging and random idle on my Polaris outlaw 50. First of all, this bike starts easy and runs and rides pretty great.the issue is that once do you ride it around and it warms up, The idle starts acting funky. Usually, after you rev it, it will hang for a minute and sometimes drop lower than it should be. I know that idle issues are almost always carburetor issues, so I put a new carburetor on it and it runs the exact same. I thought... Help with hanging idle (Outlaw 50)

Have a 1999 Sportsman 335 for about 8 years and haven't had any issues. But now the AWD SWITCH (located on Right side at throttle switch)is not working correctly. Been trying to find wiring diagrams for this ATV, bought a HAYNES manual that is not of use to me it contains nothing on my ATV. About 4 years ago I saw an article covering this component and read it fairly well, but I wasn't having any issues with mine so it didn't think to save it. Hello, Have a 2005 Polaris Sportsman 500. Wondering if it has a breaker on it, and if so where is it located? I don’t think it has a fuse box like the newer one’s, but rather a breaker. Any help would be great. The machine gets no power and I’ve tried what seems like everything. Thinking the breaker might have gotten tripped and needs reset.

For anyone looking at a trailer you cannot fit 2- 570eps on a 14’. Mine are both new 2026 models and have front bumper and winches. I was couple inches short (story of my life) no matter how I loaded them. My guess is the added length with the bumper is what did me in. Alot of conflicting information on the web so I just borrowed a 14’ to confirm myself. I would never consider hauling them as close as I had them trying to make them fit. Looks like a side load or 16’ trailer is in my future... 14’ is not Enough
