You folks need to check out Randy and Terri’s action , I have done most of the repairs on all the tractors and have restored about half the collection. He has done a fantastic job on all his stuff and you won’t find anything nicer , he cut no corners on any of this stuff . Tractors all go on Tuesday night closes at 6:00 pm and the implements , attachment , shelving etc sells on wed / starts closing at 6:00 pm , Here are a few of them I did and there are more .

Can anyone identify this large and mysterious machine? Its manufacturer? And its purpose for being? Was it one of a kind, or mass produced? Has anyone on the board here ever seen this machine in person?

Reassembling an ih 444 with the c153 gas engine. Crankshaft was bought from salvage and turned by Blains engine shop in Dallas. In theory, bearings should now be 10 over. Bearings are Clevite. Brand new. Assembly was careful, matching the number sides of connecting rods and their caps, and copiously lubricating the bearings and journals with assembly oil. Once torqued to spec, the engine could be hand-rotated with difficulty with up to two cylanders, but with three or four, it is locked up tight. Pulled the caps. The bearings that had been hand rotated a few times showed wear marks, except for one which looked fine. Tried plastigauge on one. Result was lopsided - very tight smear on one side and not much on the other. Used a different bearing half with the same result. What think you wise ones?
Many moons ago someone here said they are not right for each other, and I can’t find the thread, can anyone enlighten me?
I am a new owner of a well used 1962 diesel B275. This is the pre varitouch or single lever hydraulics version. Runs good but the hitch leaks down very fast. A snowblower will drop from full up to bottom in under 10 seconds. I assume the lever just lifts or drops and there is no actual position control if it leaks down. I now have a new piston seal ( https://www.ebay.ca/itm/205032602176 ). Can I replace this seal without removing the whole reservoir top unit from the tractor? Can I drain the oil and then remove the control valve body and get access to the piston? When looking at the diagrams for the top unit it looks like this is possible but not sure what hold the ram cylinder in place. How is it sealed at the front? Any suggestions welcome Thanks Glenn Ford 9N IH B275
Is there any place in iowa that repairs dash display for boxcars that anyone might know of?
