Hello. Can anyone offer any recommendations for a good wheel truing stand? I saw some on Amazon that ranged from 59 to 149-169 dollars. I'd like to do more repair/maintenance work myself. But I'm not sure what's good. I'm not made of money, so if anyone out there can offer any advice that would be helpful. Are there any ones that don't require to be bolted to a table?

The last wheelset I built had no distinction between right/left drilled holes. I'm working on a Velocity A23 build. Looking at the rim from the non-nipple side, the holes are definitely left vs. right drilled. At first, I laced this assuming the hole left-of-center (on the non-nipple side) would have the spoke go to the same side (left in this case). But I suspect this is wrong and that a spoke left-of-center (looking from the non-nipple side) should actually go to the right since that... dumb build question on right/left hole drillings

I live in Australia, so information on Merlin is pretty thin on the ground. I have a 2005 Magia and obviously have seen it disappear off the 2006 catalogues. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light as to the reason why it was dropped and has its place been filled by the CR3/2.5 Works or some other model? I love this bike - its like nothing I have ever ridden before and it's speed, comfort, looks and handing are all first class - so why drop it? Cheers.

I found great prices for wheel set from Gambacicli an Italian online site. Anyone have experience, recommendation etc. Not in rush for delivery and looking to ship to NY Thanks Sully

Picked up a mid 1980s GT road bike unlike anything you've seen. It has full Dura Ace 7400. The bottom bracket marked By Toyo. Toyo in Japan is said to have built the first GT road bikes and some of the mountain biikes.
