Hi there, wondering how many of you people have been owners of a 411 or other Royal Enfields before now being owners of a 450. Would you consider the 450 a "more refined" machine than regular Royal Enfield production? Or would you consider the 450 "just" a hi-tech Royal Enfield? In other words... let's take apart the TFT, improved brakes and suspensions, electronics and such for a moment... is the Himalayan 450 a better built bike? Maybe a bike built to higher standards? Hey all, just thought id share some of the things I've done since owning the bike. Installed the fly screen and mirrors and changed the oil cap so far. Just received my tripper today, so will hopefully install that soon as well

It was interesting to see how the separate seats from the Royal Enfield Classic 350,, would look on ,,Royal Enfield Bullet 350,, . And I accidentally found seats from ,,Classic,, in ads in Altai. And not just from ,,classic,, . But also from,,Royal Enfield Classic 350 Halycon Black,, . Seats in the color of my Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Maroon Colour ​

Yesterday I took the Hunter for the first big ride. Germany, Luxembourg, Belge and France which added up to about 650km. Sadly the camera died after the first picture, new batteries are on the way. The motorcycle performed as expected, but I did not. While turning after taking the picture, I dropped my bike. Oh no, I can not have anything nice! My '73 F250 is still going strong. It can really haul a load. It's firewood hunting season again and the mighty Ford and I have brought home a few good loads so far. And the Super XL-12 has been chewing up wood like a champ. Old but still good. Maybe there is hope for me yet ;-)

Hello out there from Oz. 2025 650 Classic I am thinking of a 16-tooth front cog to help reduce the buzz at highway speeds. If I do this modification, will I need to change the drive chain? TIA.

Picking up my SM this week. Definitely want / need panniers / saddlebags. I like the look of the RE long haul panniers, but they appear small. Looking Shad SH 23 top loaders, equivalent Givi setup, or possibly the Trip Machine saddle bags. The Trip machine would look good on my celestial red bike, but I am wondering how soft bags are on the highway at 70 mph. Do they flap badly ? They are not lockable and not sure how they hold up in the rain. Plan to do overnight weekend trips.
