Well , having made up and painted a seat for a 1/12th scale Italeri Bugatti a little while ago, yesterday I could not find the pesky thing to do a trial fit into the bodywork. How I managed to mis lay it is a mystery right now having looked in what I thought all the obvious places I might have put it. I mean, it's not the sort of tiny thing that pings out of a pair of tweezers into oblivion is it ? In the words of that song 'Gotta keep searching, searching. Gotta keep searching, searching !'

I've been told by a local man that the plot of land my house is on (built in 2000) used to be the village rubbish tip. With the amount of stuff I've dug up in the past I can well believe it. Evening all, I've been wanting to get into builds for a while now and finally at 32 made a go of it, just started with an airfix land rover and trailer, nothing to special i like to call this my training days, any advice on tools, tips and tricks would be massively appreciated, will upload a picture of my first build when its complete, thanks all

Made from the drawing published in "The Coach and Motor Builder, Dec 1918". This vehicle was built as a dual purpose vehicle, as it could be converted into a Log Waggon, by removing the body from the under-carriage. The body is only held in place by 4 bolts at the front and rear bolsters, then when they are removed and the body lifted away from the under-carriage, it then becomes a Log Waggon. After a disaster start to this kit. I'm very happy with it. The front bumper doesn't fit properly IMO being from a nissan 180 but I've got it not too bad I changed the wheels to some spare tamiya skyline nismo wheels as used the kit ones on the Toyota Pro box

Another Macross build, this time another "aircraft" as I had enjoyed the Super Ostrich so much. This is an inverted wing layout, similar to the Grumman XP-29 and the Soviet SU-47 Bekut. An interesting variant. Anyhow, I have started with the sub-assemblies. and doing a bit of dry fit. Then it will be undercoat with mr.color surfacer and trying to figure out my painting process/sequencing. Till later!

Well, I may still go back a bit and shorted the undercarriage some more, but for now, I'm saying they're done Iranian Chengdu F-7M - Iraqi F7B, Iran/Iraq war 1988 Realised I hadn't done the brown over the canopy! Fit of parts of these little kits is fine, though you can see the canopy needs adjusting, as do the undercarriage legs, which are 2-3 mm too long, which really shows in... Read more
