SOMETHING OLD-Vol.2-MISSING FEEDBACK

Whew! It’s really gotten ugly! I lost 8 more feedback today, which makes the tally 99 lost in the last 2 weeks and 161 this summer! I’ve lost 6.17% of my feedback in these purges. What is amazon’s goal? To delete 25%, 50%; all of our feedback!

Amazon Email: Get your payouts within 24 hours, at no cost

Tried_Tested: You guys were waiting +1 Business day? For me, Amazon disburses on Tuesday, it hits the bank on Friday. Whether you count that as 2 or 3 days (since Tuesday is at 6:00pm), yeah, we have to wait, and longer than even +1 days. I’ve not seen any notice that we’re going to get anything faster. But we do a pretty decent job of managing cash-flow; unlike some whiners on NSFE, a known delay in getting funds is baked into our operations, and doesn’t cause a problem. But faster is better; every once in a while, it’s awkward, like the payout hitting the day after estimated taxes are due.

Amazon Email: Get your payouts within 24 hours, at no cost

Lost_My_Marbles: Amazon just sent this email out to us (and others have reported getting it). … Welcome change, admittedly, but I wonder what the odds-against are that this will roll out smoothly… After all, this is the same organization that published this gem of a URL to link the Payments Dashboard (link, Seller Central, simplified) in the same-titled 092126 News Headline “Get your payouts within 24 hours, at no cost” @ https: //sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-news/articles/QVRWUERLSUtYMERFUiNHOU1ERldRWVpQQ0VOUU1Y (I’ve ‘broken’ the actually-provided URL twice due to it’s mangled construction, so that it won’t display the “Amazon Sign-in” web element): https: //sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/help.html?itemID=https: //sellercentral.amazon.com/payments/dashboard/index.html . Methinks I smell Glitchmas…

Need advice appealing a return

Tvoi: Also, a full refund would have been necessary regardless of the “missing” box. Agreed. The customer is due the entire refund; what good is half an encyclopedia set (which is why I’m also a bit miffed that I had to pay to have that half shipped back to me). My point is that if the entire order had not been delivered, then Amazon would cover it, so I’m hoping they will now. Tvoi: Are you sure that refund for that return was what was charged? Did you have enough “reserve” to cover the refund? Yes, that was what was stated in the e-mail, no disbursement of funds, and additional charge to the credit card for the rest. There was plenty in “Reserve” to have covered the balance. Although I’m now freaking out a bit, because I went to check the e-mail, and now an entire week’s worth of e-mail is gone from my client, including that one. I’ll have to check Nisha’s computer tomorrow to see if it’s there. Old-Timer: May I ask what the return resolution states? “AutomatedRefund” or “Refund at first scan” or “StandardRefund” It says “Automated Refund”. Applied 2 days after the box was delivered to me. Lost_My_Marbles: What carrier was used and what service type? It was shipped Media Mail, with Declared Value of $1540, insured by USPS/U_PIC Lost_My_Marbles: USPS has a 15 day period after mailing and you are past that. Yeah, I was past that before the box even got to Atlanta, and well before customer messaged me. VTR: For those of you who may not be familiar, THIS LINK is the coverage pa

Amazon Email: Get your payouts within 24 hours, at no cost

Uncle_Leroy: what prompted Amazon to do this? Probably being charged by the banks to do it the “standard” way when the quick way is the bank’s SOP being it is over 25 years into the 21st century. Amazon doesn’t do out of the goodness of their heart.

Amazon Email: Get your payouts within 24 hours, at no cost

Lost_My_Marbles: Before … most of us would have had to pay to get it in one day. It was available, but Amazon gets enough of our money so we opted to wait a day or two to avoid giving Amazon more money. I also thought express payout came with giving “the house” a cut to get my money faster. I do like this if it is truly no-cost. I just have two questions: 1) Just how long will this remain no-cost, and 2) what prompted Amazon to do this? I suspect a government agency investigation or some type of lawsuit prompted this.

FedEx adding fees for the end of year rush -- "FedEx levies fees on US imports from Canada, Europe and others "

lake: I guess that if tariffs are not hurting FEDEX International Business they might make a little extra on each shipment. When has refunding money to people ever been cost free to do for a business? How much do you think it cost them just to do the financial analysis, refund fees and reporting? The lawsuits were not free either. The increases seem on par for previous hikes and what others are doing, so I don’t see it as a cash grab after having to manage IEEPA refunds.
