How do I select the mandrel size to buy first? My max range for testing is off the bench at 200 yards so I don't care about performance farther out. I am experimenting to see what happens, what numbers change, group size & flyer occurences.etc. Working with 5.56mm cases and .002 neck tension I selected the correct Redding bushing per instructions. My pistol preference has been hammer fired DA/SA types. Had been thinking the HK VP9 yet the Sig P320 X5 was pretty nice too. Went by the LGS and asked what they suggestion for a striker and he pulled out the SA Echelon. He's a Glock guy yet stated this SA had a nicer out of box trigger and to add it to the consider list. That gear up package with optic seems like a good deal. This is intended as a range toy. Thoughts-suggestions?

I got a Ben Pearson 45# recurve for Christmas 1974. I don't know what my parents paid but I'm sure it was under $100. Georgia was the last state to legalize compound bows for hunting, and I bought a Hoyt Ram Bow in the early 80's after the law was changed. Why is there a lever sticking out of the trigger on striker fired pistols? You can't pull the trigger without depressing the safety lever. I don't see any benefit to having that little dingus sticking out there. Seems like a lawyer mod.

I only got two of Em: a Polish SPSh-44 variant (top) and a German "ayf 41" (bottom). Anybody got some deep knowledge on these? Recommend other makes/models? Or where I can find a source for flares? I'd like to use the Polish one for when I'm on my little Jon boat.

The smaller knife is an original Marbles Woodcraft from the early 1900s I think from what I read around 1915. It was my Grandfathers. The 2nd one was made by Raymond Smith. Enjoy Dan

Lately i have purchased a couple of FFP scopes and love them. I previously didn't pay much attention to FFP vs SFP. Most likely because when i started shooting long range benchrest in the 90's, I never saw any FFP scopes or knew the difference. How long have then been available? I really prefer FFP over SCP now.

The ubiquitous Draco. This sucker has been a useless large format pistol that I’ve owned for several years, only having fired it a few times as it was mostly a novelty as it stood.
