Hi everyone! as title says my hood cable "malfunctioned" the other day and I cannot get the hood opened. now, i did search the forum , net and youtube and did not find a definitive instruction to get it opened. had similar situation on ford and it was easy with a long screwdriver. I saw a vid with a camry 40, the guy just unbolts the hood latch from outside and opens that way, yet i theres a clip facing upward i cannot get to even from the bottom. so Is there a hood way to get it open when... broke the hood cable,how to pop the hood?!

Hey everyone, need help with inoperative ac. Lines not restricted, blew them out with air. Replaced compressor, due to previous diag. That did not help. More than likely old compressor good. Need help with electrical diagram and sensors that are associated with ac. I did run 12 v to clutch, and did engage compressor. So not getting power to clutch and electrical is my weak suit. So asking for any help, will b greatly appreciated.

Issue: While listening to music at higher volumes, 20+, I noticed that the alternator can not keep the battery charged on drives. Testing/Background: I have measured the alternator at idle with the ac on, rear defrost on, head lights on, interior dome light on, and volume at 20 on the aftermarket radio and alternator is right around... Hi, my car runs for a minute and 13 seconds before dying, crankshaft sensor new, idle air control valve is new, not sure what the issue is. No codes pop up. i’m thinking it’s a failing fuel pump? Not sure anymore. It’s a 4 cylinder 2.2l 5sfe engine.

Hello! I have a 1999 Camry CE and the factory struts need to be replaced as I am getting a really rough ride and a porpoising effect when I hit potholes and other defects in the road. With that being said, it seems to come down to KYB or Monroe replacement struts, I plan to buy four complete new strut assemble for easier install. Reading reviews, it really seems to be hit and miss on KYB and Monroes, some claim KYB ride good, others claim they are no longer good and same with Monroe... Quest for a smoother ride

I've got two gallons of oil and I intend to use all of it. Where do you want me to spray? Should I try to take the plastic liners out of the front wheel wells for better access? Have a '99 CE that I replaced the drums on with Toyota OEM drums, but hardware and shoes that I got off RockAuto. They've worked great for a handful of months now, but in the last couple of weeks, they have started squealing (loud, low, steady tone) at any speed when applying gentle braking when cold and when fully warmed up from regular driving, but are quiet between cold and warm (so after a couple of minutes driving but before roughly 15 mins of driving). i got the 2000 Camry body rebuilt. now i need a way to secure the battery till i can get a hold down. like a month tops. any ideas?

98 Cali 2.2 Camry. 290k miles, idles at 750 then slowly drops to around 500 and starts bouncing when cold, then clears itself when you blip it like your old choked carb cars releasing the choke. When warm it's back to 750ish but is rough, LTFT is 25% as if I have a vacuum leak but I can't find it. Pulled every vacuum line off the intake I can and pulled vacuums on all and they all held a vacuum: egr, pcv test ok ( no change pulled out of vc, plugged and it snapped closed).
