My wife and I returned from this year’s MGP/ CTT in a completely different frame of mind from previous years. The difference this year being the result of the organisers actually using the flexibility that’s always been available to them, thus preventing the previous years shambles. I’m a TT Course marshal and have been extremely critical of the organisers on this forum in the past due, in my opinion, to them taking every volunteer for granted. That didn’t happen this year, rather than hoping and praying to the weather gods positive action was taken, the schedule was significantly revised and the event went ahead successfully. Also many practice sessions went ahead in conditions less than the organiser’s ideal, an ideal too far for me but at least some progress was made on that front too. I sincerely hope this modus operandi will be applied to all future Mountain Course events, let’s hope so. So, to from me the organisers, credit where it’s due. WELL DONE!

Does anyone have a phone number for Dommyman (Brian) please? If so could you make contact with him (don't post it here) He had not logged in since last Christmas and I tried to make contact a couple of months ago, but without success. Recently I have had three applications to join on new accounts that appear to be from him and authentic. I cannot get a reply on either email address used. Be nice to know if we can help. Sav
