It's no secret that I've posted my "issues" with my prostate cancer here. Several forum members have surprisingly responded that they know someone with prostate cancer or quality of life problems related to the prostate.. We always hear about breast cancer, for good reason, but not much about how many men have problems with their prostate. Yeah....I know... who and the Hell wants to talk about that!! Well.. I do. Today was my 16th radiation treament. 24 more to go. I'm getting radiation... I'm not the only one...Prostate Health and Colon Health too!

I just ordered the oem rear rotors and pads for my 2019 tundra from Fred Anderson with the Labor Day sale. Severe shudder and rear end “hop” while braking with highway speeds. I have done brake jobs on previous cars and trucks but never on the tundra……wish me luck! If anyone had any tips or tricks I am open to suggestions!

She’s come a long way. Originally purchased in October 2019 For 52k. Can’t buy anything for that anymore it seems. Various stages of its life: leveling kit with 35” Toyo MT…..simpler times finally got the front total chaos LT kit after saving for a year and a half 2.5” wider. Boxed lowers. At this point wait in 8 months for bypasses. Installed the mcniel front fenders and 37 nitto ridge... Cavalry Blue Limited Long Travel

Hello! looking for any reccs for a preferably North Orange County shop to do some work on 3rd Gen and 2.5 Gen With peace and love, I love Bajarex & Jospeh, but he’s pretty full these days and I hate to have to leave my truck and uber there and back. mods please let me know if this is not the right section, I did one search and didn’t bring up many results.

I guess this might fall under the category of, "Just because you've always done it that way doesn't make it right." With my previous vehicles, including the '04 Sequoia and '02 Tacoma, I've never thought twice about jacking the vehicle up by putting the jack under the frame at roughly the midpoint on one side, then lifting the vehicle so that both tires on the same side are off the ground. Of course, rear wheel chocked on opposite side. Whether I use jack stands or not depends on whether I... Bad idea to jack truck up from the side?

I have a 2021 Tundra with under 50,000 miles on it. No modifications to speak of. When driving at low speeds and low rpms, with a slight engine load, I hear what sounds like spark knock or pinging. I hear nothing like this at idle or when revving the engine. I hear the pinging whether I am running 87 octane all the way up to 93. Ethanol or no-ethanol. I normally use Toyota or Mobile 1 0W20 but I’ve also tried 5W30 and that makes no difference (though it does make it quieter at idle).... Knocking, pinging, or just valve train noise?

After my recent experience with high temp alarm on my transmission under load on an incline I’m hoping for an additional cooler for the new 10 spd. The dealer tested the truck in the field and the temperature was hitting 225F quickly which is out of range from my understanding. Anyone seen a possible solution in the aftermarket?

I have acquired one, it is a mini yota truck. Called a 1 ton, it has had a 3.4L swap. No box, bed, or camper on it currently. Just a Cab and a Frame. Clean frame and Cab(inside and out), engine bay is clean. Frame is fully boxed, this was previously a flatbed work truck IMO, not a U-haul or Camper. Weighs about 3,000 lbs, GVR of 6,000 lbs. Heavier duty breaks + frame. "1 Ton Cab on Chassis" on the door sticker, sent/sold from Japan with just a cab and frame. Anybody have any experience... Toyota Dually 1990

I have replaced my key fob battery 2 weeks ago and now it has died again. I was wondering if this is evidence that someone is using a radio device to steal my car. I park in front of the house about 20 feet away. I have heard that the car may be pinging the key fob continuously but it doesn’t make sense to have the battery drain so quickly.

It looks like I might actually buy a dump truck! This has been a three-year challenge the wife and I have been on as we have a fairly tight set of "must haves" combined with a fairly tight budget. However, it looks like we've found a candidate that meets most / all of our requirements. The truck is currently about 300 miles away and given its low gearing and my desire to enjoy the backroads, I might just stay off the interstates. Given all that I think it'd be neat to record the trip.... Road trip likely: what dash cam that can plug into a cigarette lighter?

Hey, new member here. I’m likely going to be purchasing a ‘23 TRD Pro in the next month or so. Only issue is that my garage is too small to fit a truck, and here in CO we get some gnarly hail storms time to time. Does anyone have any hail protection covers or anything similar they recommend I take a peak at?

old thread is long so started this.. hope ok. I put all new rear shoes and kit in as well as new drums. had a drip from the old wheel cylinder on right side so ordered new Aisin wheel cylinders. as I went to replace I notice that drip I was getting actually was coming out at the right side line fitting at the backside of the cylinder.. so old wheel cylinders probably were ok. I trashed them and put the new ones in. now both sides leak at there fittings on new cylinders? the one wasn't... new rear wheel cylinders.. lines leak at fitting..
