Hi! Trying to fix non-working factory cruise control. Checked so far: Start-Stop: Started working again on its own. Fuses: All fuses checked and intact. Accelerator Pedal: Tested with a borrowed scanner earlier ECU reads throttle position correctly. Stalk Switch: Removed, cleaned, tested with multimeter. Both ON/OFF and SET contacts work 100%. Pedal area: no brake sensor on the pedal. Questions: 1. Brake sensor: Where is the sensor on this model? Lights work normal. Directly on... Factory cruise control problem

Hi all, Looking for some advice. I’ve got a late 2018 model VW move up and the windscreen washer fluid won’t eject. I’ve refilled it and checked all the potential related fuses I can find online (6, 17 and 39) and they’re all fine. When I try to wash the screen, the wipers work but both the rear and front fluid doesn’t eject. Has anyone else encountered the same issue?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and I'm hoping someone here has come across this issue before. My VW Up! (1.0, 2013) has been making a whistling noise for quite some time now, which seems to be coming from the PCV valve area. My first thought was that the PCV valve itself had failed, so I replaced it with a brand-new genuine unit. Unfortunately, the noise is exactly the same. One thing I have noticed is that if I squeeze the rubber hose connected to the PCV valve, the whistling stops... Strange whistling noise from engine (PCV system?)

Hi All, As above, my 2018 80k Up creaks and rattles from the rear especially over speed bumps and more so when it's dry and cold. New dampers fitted. Any ideas please? Thanks Chris

Hi, I suspect this has already been raised elsewhere, but trying to get a definitive answer from towbar suppliers is proving difficult ! I have recently bought an electric bike, for health reasons, and I want to be able to carry it on my 2018 Up GTI 3-door. Due to the weight of the bike, it is not practical to load it on the roof, and I don't believe that a rack over the rear hatch would support it either. I am left with a towbar fitted carrier, but there are only a couple of manufacturer's... Towbar for bike rack.

Hi, I wanted to replace the DRL bulbs with LEDs to look less yellow and reduce power. Bought some 'dual filament' high-low power type LEDs but stumbled into the problem discussed in the thread below whereby the pinout of the LED has some shared pins which led to blowing fuses a couple of times. I've replaced blown fuses and all of the ones connected with DRL & tail lights are now good (4, 21,22,23) but both DRLs (with original bulbs refitted) now fail to light. Has anyone else... DRL daytime lights problem

2019 Silver Up GTi carrying all the factory options. Tilt and Slide electric sun roof. Climate control Air Con. Superb Bose speaker set up with boot woofer. Reversing sounders and after market reversing camera. Conti front tyres, plenty of tread. 43,300 easy life mostly motorway miles Cornwall London by pensioner owner. Garaged when not in use. Some slight scuffing on front alloys, otherwise exterior and interior unmarked. MOT to Dec. Is this as good as they get? Reg No not included.

I can hear a pump noise which is very active, when I drive away from a stop, releasing the brakes and pressing on the gas again makes it run for 1 to 3 seconds almost every time. Or at low speed slowing down in second and coming on the gas again. Engine cold or warm doesn't matter. (triggers only when pressing the gas pedal again, not releasing the brake pedal). Engine runs normal while driving an at idle. No codes or check lights. is this normal? Is it the electric vacuum pump for the... GTI pump noise
