Has anyone with a Volkswagen dealt with a vibration that becomes more noticeable when accelerating, especially around 40–60 mph? It feels like it’s coming through the floor rather than the steering wheel. Wondering if the inner CV joints or driveshaft could be responsible before replacing anything.

Hi guys Im dan from Wigan in the uk. Ill be honest im no mechanic but I have been a Gas engineer for the last 34 years. Im always willing to have a go at fixing stuff but I know my limits 🤣 Be gentle with me 😁

Was running fine but after about 15 minutes of motorway driving eml came on then 5 minutes later car looses power and can just about get it moving in 1st but VERY lumpy but when turned off and on works fine but same thing happened when got back on motor way got a 01314 code but but nothing else that would suggest this problem anyone have any knowledge ?

Its not revving past 5000 rpm

The steering is straight and the alignment readings are within spec, but the front subframe position still looks slightly off when compared side to side. Has anyone had to loosen and re-center the subframe on a Volkswagen after an alignment, and did it make any noticeable difference to the handling?

Hi all. Thanks for letting me join. Car ive joined for is the wifes. Recently eml has illuminated. Giving out codes which i will attach to post. Also just had new top mounts, wishbones and temp control sensor(as was told maybe isue eml). This was not case and now coil light is flashing aswell. Any help on where to start, to resolve the light issues please. Thanks in advance

First post, wanting of better circumstances! I have a 2007 VW Golf GTD 140 that I love. Its been a stronghold of reliability but the other night whilst driving on the motorway engine cut silently (no shuddering) and battery indicator light came on. Since that event it has been hard to start, and when running will run if revs are kept above 1000 rpm (I had to drive it home last night after recovery) but encounter the same 'silent' cut of power and battery indicator on if it goes to idle... Engine cuts out under 1000 revs

There’s a small amount of oil appearing around the differential flange on my Volkswagen. I’m trying to establish whether the flange seal is usually responsible or if the surrounding area should be checked for another source.

I'd really appreciate some advice about which of the 1.9 diesels are worth buying I know that a lot of them now are probably too old in terms of bodywork particularly in the UK But I'm just looking for a nice cheap reliable vehicle for my mum So she you know have something to run around in shes moving up to Scotland so she needs to ferry stuff between here and there we're in Yorkshire so it's a fire We need a nice reliable comfy workhorse I thought you guys might be good for advice Just want...
