You can definitely turn music off for any video during a workout but it also gets rid of the people talking

Quick update for everyone: The local distributor reached out to me today to process the RMA and arrange the return of my defective unit. I am currently sending it back to receive the replacement BOLT v3. As soon as the new device arrives, I will run a thorough test using the exact same settings that triggered the issue (pre-loaded route navigation with active rerouting and my sensor setup). Once I complete the test ride, I will update this thread so we can finally see whether this was an isolated hardware failure on my unit or a broader software/firmware regression affecting the model. Wahoo have confirmed to me that via the Roam logs, they believe it’s likely related to a software bug that is currently being addressed. I hope a fix will be out for it soon.

Getting back to that: I’ve now done a number of different rides, short and long, some of them with phone connected, some at night, and battery life always was as expected, or even better than expected in some cases. So it pretty much looks like a hardware issue, at least in my case.

Thanks, I’m basically back to normal. I have to add them individually in RWGPS, which I kind of like, It would be annoying to have a bunch of extra ones.

Richie, thanks for explanation. I depend on voice announcements which have improved. I didn’t notice a banner (text would be too small fir my eyes). I didn’t plan any POIs, guess they appeared from Komoot route plan I’ll try again, delete POIs that aren’t useful! BTW, sorry to read about your crash and injured shoulder - hope you recover soon!

I mean yesterday it took forever for my ride using an Ace to fully cloud sync and then I could share it. Also why I thought it might be a cloud delay.

Strange thing is that this same issue happened to two of us on the ride. This was the second time (consecutively) that this happened to me. I pulled the .fit file off the Bolt and all the data is there. I confirmed this by uploading the .fit file to Strava. I have logged out and back into the Element and Wahoo apps on iOS. We’ll see what happens on the next ride.
