As the batteries are again weak I simply decided to replace it. Her interrogation pointed out that I have three other clocks in my man cave - and she's asking why I need another? It's obvious - I chose to balance each wall with a clock. She's got the rest of the house covered with her pics (and artwork) - this... I just suffered

Background: this is my inherited mantle clock (as I received it). It was originally gifted to my Great Grandparents as a wedding gift (estimated 1907). When I received it the clock was inop and had been declared dead by other clock repair folks many years ago. Well my watch doc got it running and I enjoyed it for a couple of years. Remaining problems I noticed: half of its vertical columns were missing and the rear cover was some home made replacement. Watch doc additionally pointed out... My Watch Doc is talented - and the Best !

in the night. Sitting here at my keyboard (just after midnight) when from outside my dark window .... A guttural scream! My best guess is it's the neighbors cat(s); so now my puppy is going crazy. My solution? Pour another cheap (Canadian) whiskey - enjoy it before it becomes a national border dispute.
