Looking at buying an existing archery shop

Hi all, Looking at purchasing an existing small archery shop and trying to get some feedback from others who own a shop. It’s a small shop (500 sq ft) but great reputation, has room to expand next door to be able to offer more inventory. Owner has been slowing down on inventory preparing to phase out so I’m trying to see what I could add to boost things Where do you find your best margins? Have you tried adding anything else besides archery supplies to boost sales? Any input is appreciated

New Mathews bows vs older single cam bows

Plz give your opinion. Buddies all disagree. if a guy was used to shooting an old Mathews Z7 or similar single cam bow , are the newer bows like the Mathews Arc that much more accurate and forgiving?! OR would the average guy get the same accuracy and performance out of his old bow? all thoughts are welcome!

Opening day success - biggest archery buck to date

If you guys have followed along with the “watch em grow” trail cam pic thread you saw this deer last year as a mature 3.5-4.5 year old 8 point. This year he showed back up and put on additional 2 points and probably 10 inches. Last season was my first season on this spot, and I didn’t get permission on it until late in the season. I hunted out of a climber and had this buck inside of 30 yards last season, but he knew something wasn’t right and never gave me a shot. This piece of property... Most stable saddle platform

I'm gonna really try to hunt only out of a saddle this year. I ha e a OOAL ridge runner but it's just not rock solid. I like it but it's a little scary for something new like this. Ive been seeing alot about these kunai platforms from tree ninja claiming to be most stable but I thought I'd ask the AT forums

How closely do you pay attention to form while hunting?

I’ve been working on my form pretty much for the last year and really trying to get it dialed. I’ve got a pretty good shot process but sometimes I think if a large deer steps out in front of me I’m going to forget 30% of the process I created (ie. Make sure my shoulders are set, pull through my shot the same way, ect…). I assume this is something that just happens and that’s why we practice so often to create the muscle memory? Or is it just par for the course to be less accurate while... How closely do you pay attention to form while hunting?
