Do you have a minimum amount of time you’ll wait after a panel has been repainted before installing PPF?

What is a good coating to use after restoring a headlight?

I am trying to remove dried on tree sap from roof and hood on Toyota Highlander. There are 15 spots. Have tried Tar X, Goo Gone for tree sap, Bug and tar remover, WD40, 70% Isopropyl alcohol, Brake Kleen. Have polished with Rupes blue wool pad and Course compound. Nothing is removing the sap. Does anyone have any suggestions or different products to try.

Never dealt with ppf. Is it worth having a front bumper done? Is it easy to polish or come off when its old or yellows?

Recently. I bought a 2024 BMW from large BMW dealership in Atlanta. The car was a recent trade-in and hadn't been "cleaned up to put out front" yet. I get how steering wheels can get shiny due it being a contact surface. Center console I can see since there is generally direct skin on arm contact on this. Why are the thick, heavy Merino wool car wash mitts suddenly difficult to find? Did we wipe out all of the Merino sheep?

Just got the car back from the dealer for a repair. I look at this car everyday so I know what is there or isn't. Detailing the inside today, walked behind it and saw this 2 foot faint whitish streak across the back bumper. I know it wasn't there, so the dealership must have caused it. And I'm not gonna press for them to repair it. I can't feel it so I don't think it's a scratch. I tried APC on it, nothing. Possibly something dragged or brushed along it, maybe just marred the Cerakote. So... Read more
