I'm wondering how instant pellets would be for Roach on a stretch of River that doesn't get fished much.

Inspired by the excellent Stuart Morgan interview on Fishflix I've just gone through all x115 of the British Records and calculated the date (where known) vs. the exact moon phase (c/o https://mooncalendar.astro-seek.com ). The stats are thrown out a bit as there are x41 entries with no exact recorded date. Have been attacking the Trent (Middle / Non-Tidal) somewhat earlier than usual this season as my Carp fishing adventures have become a bit monotone for reasons I won't bore you with . . . Anyway, have been doing ok (ok=consistent in my book) with regular catches on each visit . . . however there is a pattern - find spots during daylight hours / bait lightly but consistently / sit on hands / catch a fish or two circa 3am. I've got quite a few rods that I want to change the tip rings on to anti-frap ones. It seems quite easy in principle, but I was wondering which specific rings to go for? I will be measuring the tip diameter, just looking for brand and sizes really. Thanks all
