On August 31 the Ministry of Tourism reissued its 24-hour emergency contact list: 117 for police, 119 for an ambulance, 016 654 736 for the Tourism Police Department, and 031 201 2345 or 031 601 2345 for the National Police rapid response line for foreigners. Entry and exit problems go to the General Department of Immigration on 068 386 699, 078 386 699 or 087 386 699. Many Khmer have Chinese parents or resent relatives. Not all Chinese are dodgy. Sure, and I am not talking about them, I am talking about the recent influx. These guys are so obviously criminals, it doesn't get more cliché. It is getting too hot for them in Mainland China so they are heading abroad. And how exactly does one round the criminals up effectively? China has way more expats and tourists than westerners combined. The authorities do not have the manpower.
