I’m checking the electrical side of the RSX, mainly the wiring, fuse box connections and grounds. Looking for the likely point to inspect when the power or electrical accessories start acting up.
Got an 08 si recently, runs strong and have been driving the crap out of it. First thing I noticed was an annoying whining that sounded like a super charger and gets louder as the rpms climbed. Second headlights dim when going to take off, when using Windows or kicking the AC on and brighten immediately when throttling. 3rd The radio light would dim and brighten on its own. 4th as I'm writing this I checked the terminals and I should probably clean them lol negative looks pretty horrible... Battery/alternator/something else???

Last year I went to move the RSX which is an extra car that rarely gets driven and the clutch fell to the floor. The Fluid doesn’t look low and the clutch is only a few years old so not really a suspect. Based on the facts I am thinking it’s either the master or the slave cylinder needing replaced. I read somewhere that you can purchase both already tied together with fluid line and no bleeding required, is that correct? Not really worried about saving money by buying only one and not the... 2004 RSX type s clutch pedal on the floor
My 2014 car has quite a long brake pedal action then the brakes come on quite fiercely. Where do I look first please.
Hello everyone. My cel came on a day after I cleaned my engine bay. I couldn’t rev passed 4k so I scanned the codes and I had a P2646 code. After I replaced the entire vtec solonoid spool valve that code went away and never came back but… now there’s a P0010 code. Before I buy a new vvt solonoid any diag tips to pinpoint the cause of failure?
Ok, so I am getting new tires and was told I have a few coolant leaks and that all my hoses need to be replaced. I have almost 160,000 miles on the car and the hoses are original, so this was not the least bit surprising. I also noticed about 6 months ago I smelled burning coolant and I have to top of the coolant to the max level once every 2 months or so, but it is not a bad leak. I was quoted at about $500 to replace the coolant hoses and a coolant flush. Just wanted to get some opinions... Coolant Hoses
