This is what a fence rail cap looks like after about 17 years from the old above ground use only treated lumber. It actually could have been replaced about 8 years ago. the top rail was ripped on a double taper to help shed water. just for the heck of it I called the 1-800 number on the tag and the company was bought out around 2014. About 5 years after the fence was built.

I’ve been testing an APK on a few different Android phones and noticed that performance isn’t always consistent. On some devices it opens and responds normally, while on others there are small delays when loading screens or content. I’m trying to understand what usually causes this kind of difference. Could it be related to Android versions, device memory, background processes, network requests, or the way the APK handles images and other resources? For anyone who has worked with Android... What usually causes an APK to feel slow?

I was just having a conversation and we were talking about apprentices. I just hired a new one (he starts in a few weeks) and I was talking about how hard it was to find someone who wasn't a 35-40 year old who was 'rediscovering themself' and wanted to be a first-year millwright apprentice. It was crazy difficult to find a young guy who wanted to work. During the conversation I mentioned what I consider to be the responsibilities of an apprentice, and in addition to showing up on-time and... Apprentice responsibilities
For me, it was probably my Ram Promaster cargo van because of the freedom it gives me to live the life I choose. What about you? What's the best money you ever spent?
Anyone replace a ceiling and not tape both sides of the corners? Simply flat tape and maybe caulk joint. Pro's...... con's.... I've seen rockers do it in a whole apartment but I have never felt good about it. How about tear-away?
Replacing an oven, dishwasher, refrigeration unit, or other commercial appliance can sometimes involve different electrical requirements than the original equipment. For those who have managed restaurant upgrades, how early do you think electrical requirements should be reviewed when selecting replacement equipment?

Good morning, hope everyone has a fantastic turkey day!! I'm in NC and got a deal on the NASCLA set with Study Guides and Sample test questions. Any tips? Anyone have trouble with the test. Open book, so it seems the main thing is learning where everything is in the 26 books!! They are also highlighted and tabbed already. Looking to test in January and and going for the unlimited license. Funding should be in good shape.
Was there a moment it just smacked you in the face that you're not a kid anymore? An actual 'oh no' moment? Or are you one of those lucky ones who still feels 19 no matter what the calendar says? I'm still trying to figure out when it happened to me, so I want to hear yours. Spill it below, dramatic, dumb, or a slow creeping realization, doesn't matter. At what point did you start to feel 'old,' or have you?
Hello everyone. I’m looking into upgrading the battery setup for my trolling motor and keep seeing lithium batteries recommended. I currently use lead-acid batteries, but the weight and limited runtime have me considering switching to a lithium trolling motor battery. If you've made the switch, how much did you notice in runtime, weight, charging time, and overall performance? Are lithium batteries reliable enough for frequent fishing trips, and do they actually last long enough to... Is a Lithium Trolling Motor Battery Worth It for Regular Fishing?
