Thanks, Faulting app: C:\Program Files\Rhino 8\System\Rhino.exe, 8.35.26251.13001 (SR35, current) Exception code c0000374 — STATUS_HEAP_CORRUPTION Faulting module: StackHash_7433, offset PCH_91_FROM_ntdll+0x161914, ntdll 10.0.26100.9444 Unfortunately StackHash_7433 means Windows could not attribute a module. Disabling Vray could still have .dll’s loading. Can you repeat the issue when Rhino is opened in Safe Mode?? Search Rhino 8 in Safe Mode on windows

Hi Henri, Try the latest WIP release that we just put up: warehouse.tekla.com Tekla Warehouse This is the free Tekla Structures BIM storage. Find, import, install, and share internally and globally. Produce high quality models efficiently. There are new components for adding and reading project info, including UDAs. Cheers, Sebastian
Jussi Aaltonen: The cause appears to be the persistent Transparent background setting in ViewCaptureToFile . It restricts the format to png and tiff. That’s an explanation for ViewCaptureToFile . Raises the question, why not use the very same dialog? Instead of this one: BTW, JPG as a term seems enough to me, not Joined Photographic Experts blabla . Can you verify this by toggling that setting in ViewCaptureToFile? Verified. You are right.
Kyuubimode: Shouldn’t Dissolve Tuple ideally give a list output? There could be a component that does it that way. Note that each tuple element is named, so there would have to be a second output which contains the list of names. But yeah, if there were components like that it would be even closer to what the scripts at the top of this posts do.
This sounds plausible and some excellent sleuthing I might add. I’d love to be able to somehow simulate this condition - I doubt your situation is uncommon - and somehow at least warn the user. Maybe I can set up some similar analogous situation and trigger it. Thanks again for sticking with this.
Not currently without grasshopper, but the grasshopper bake component does take rhino geometry so it should be as simple as assign your objects to a Geometry Param and then adding a baking component. In the image, the top is the vanilla bake component - good for a one time use, the bottom is the tracked bake component, which will track changes in the rhino object and keep updating the AutoCAD version:
Have we already get to a solution? im having this same exact problem
You have to see the context of this prehistoric thread. Its 8 years ago, and things have changed a lot. Before AI, it was all about figuring out a way to make things happen. This was the fun part in this forum. Just think about a problem and provide some scripts to make it happen. There was no intention to provide a professional solution. Apart from the fact, that you should not be in need for such a tool. If you are in need of these features, you can vibe code it together, in the same time we were tinkering around. No need to ask for opinions and starting points. But sometimes you will miss other peoples ideas.
Hello all, Im having trouble understanding why the bending moment isnt continuous at the top of the columns which are suposed to be fixed like the other curve intersections from the model. Especially when I dont consider columns and the fixed supports are directly on the grid structure, the continuity is not verified. Can anybody explain if this is normal or not ? Test File.gh (34.8 KB) Thank you !
I am struggling to reproduce this, the latest Civil 3d build I have access to is 13.8.1809.0 and Rhino Inside Civil3d is working as expected, This is the current official version on the Autodesk download page for 2026. It already contains the NET 10 migration so we can rule out NET10 being an issue. As you have a later version of Civil3d (Version 13.8.1980.0), we will need to understand What changed in Civil 3D between 13.8.1809.0 and 13.8.1980.0? Or could this be an environment issue? Do you have another other versions of AutoCAD or Civil3d (2024-2027) which you can test to see it they are working? You could also try updating rhino, this is the version which, I am currently running with Civil 13.8.1809.0 (2026.2.2): Thanks Tom
