I would like to hear from real people not the b.s. the manufacture claims. Do the new gen 5 expeditions really handle better on trail with the change in ski geometry ? Can you hold off on the ski skins if not going off trail very often ? Sled will be a 2027 SE expedition, 20" track,with the 900 ace, NA.

Have an old XR phone that needs replacing. Is there anything concrete to show that Androids work better with BRP Go than Apple, or vice/versa? Or does it work equally poorly with either? Lol Not beholden to any phone brand, but curious about compatibility. Used my iphone in the past, and it was very spotty. The new 18s are pricey regardless. Thanks!

We always go early February, but this year our daughter is expecting on Feb 2. So we need to plan around that with at least a 3 week buffer. Ive never ridden up there at those times. Anyone have any input on when would be a better time to go?

I’m looking to see if anyone here has experienced, repaired, or heard of a crankshaft failure on a 900 ACE Turbo. Machine is a 2022 Ski-Doo Expedition SE 900 ACE Turbo , approximately 9,000 km (5,600 miles) . The failure happened suddenly while riding. Just before it let go, I noticed a significant vibration. The crankshaft then sheared/broke on the PTO/clutch side . Once the crank failed, the primary clutch detached and hit the secondary, causing substantial damage to... 900 ACE Turbo crankshaft failure at 9,000 km anyone seen this before?

Im tearing apart an 02 MXZ engine and the engine mount plate wont release from the bottom of the engine. Ive removed the four nuts from the four studs in the bottom of the crank case, but the plate wont come off. I dont want to risk cracking anything by pounding on it

Just picked up a 2007 Ski-Doo Summit X 800R P-TEK 144 with about 3,800 miles on it. As far as I know, it has had one engine rebuild in its lifetime, but I don’t know exactly what was replaced during the rebuild. I’m pretty new to these older 800Rs and wanted to get some opinions from people who have owned or worked on them. What are the common issues I should be looking out for on these 2007 800Rs? Are there any particular problems with the early 800R engines that I should be concerned... 2007 Summit x 800r Ptek questions

Does anyone know a good book for shock tuning (changing the valve stack for softer or firmer shocks)? I have changed my shock valve stacks over the years, but it's always trial and error with no book help. Also, anyone know someone who sells shims that fit the KYB Pro 40 shocks (12mm center hole)?
