Hi all. I am heading to Niagara Falls Canada for the annual Niagara 5000 car event. There is a supercar parade, car show, winery and road tour in our cars, an airplane hangar experience at Niagara airport with supercars and airplanes. This Friday to Saturday. Had a 300 cell Downpipe installed just a while back. I did not have a check engine light. I was driving on some bumpy roads today and after the drive I began to hear a very subtle difference while idle at the stop light, the car rattled a bit at idle. Could these codes be due to a leak? Maybe a loose clamp? Appreciate any insight. The downpipe had bungs welded onto it to fit the sensors. Could it be faulty or melted O2 sensors? P2097 is a permanent code. Thanks for... Read more

Hi All, I'm wondering if anyone has personal experience with the Nitron NTR1 Fastroad or NTR1 Clubsport suspension yet. I've got the touring package, and it's way too soft for the track. As this car is street driven a lot, I don't want to go too aggressive, but I'd like to do better. Fastroad is stiffer in front than the sports package, and similar in rear to the factory sports suspension Clubsport is a lot stiffer both front and rear. The seat memory has stopped working. The seat motors still work and the position can be adjusted with the seat side controls. Lotus garage says they found a code which indicates the whole seat needs replacing. I find that very hard to understand. Has anyone had any experience of this?

I’ve had a go at repairing this myself and, so far, it seems to have worked. I thought I’d post the method in case anyone else wants to have a go rather than repeatedly replacing the panel. The side panels on the Emira seats have a thin plastic latch in the upper middle of the panel. Unfortunately, this latch is under quite a lot of pressure whenever the seat is occupied and is constantly being flexed as you move around in the seat and get in and out of the car. Just had my three year service done at Lotus Bristol (Rybrook). Was shocked to see what they are now quoting for service pricing, This was an A service which 2 years ago was £430, B service a year ago was £780 yet they wanted to charge me £795 for an A service yesterday. Unbelievable. I got them down by £100 but really they know I had nowhere else to go at short notice. I should have asked when booking in but also with such a huge jump they should have told me! The spare key is gone and now the main key has locked itself inside the car. Any helpful thoughts? The UK lotus office has been notified but not yet offered a solution. Have not had a car that would lock with the key inside before this...
