I though about the idea of making a simplified version of the INNOTRACE controller just like we did with the INNOTRACE M620 CAN Simple controller and apply similar ideas we realized there and that would fit both M560 and M600 motors. And it looks like there is a possibility to design such a motor controller that will work with all Bafang M560, M510, M600 and M500 motors that would be possible to easily order from JLCPCB for cheap or solder it home with minimum soldering tools. Hi, The lead batteries of my e-scooter vastro (2kw DC hub motor) died a few years ago alongside the controller. The escooter took then some dust in my garage. But it hurt my feelings to either sell it ot worse let it rust. So I decided to upgrade it. First thing, I replaced the faulty controller with a votol EM50-4. I'm happy of joining this forum And since I'm very passionate about ebikes and did my first conversion basically as a teenager, i hope i can help clarifying some doubts about ebike conversions. I'm not a expert in whooole the conversion hahah, but from my experience, I may help with questions related to hub motor conversion kits

trying to switchover the controller/battery pack from one smartmotion urban city to another but found the 9 pin cable that connects from controller to the display having a different plug. The difference is just in the plastic shape of the plug but they are not compatible. Is there a reason ? If i buy a 9 pin cable from aliexpress that seems to have the same plugs as my first bike will i run into problems or is a 9 pin cable simply a 9 pin cable, no hidden tricks ???

I'm having a hard time trying wrap my mind around Field Weakening. So far what I know is when the motor reaches top speed, the controller does something to make the motor go faster. What I think I'm reading is, when the motor reaches top speed the controller then increases the phase current? That sounds more like Field Increasing than Field Weakening to me, so why is it called Field Weakening? Also how does the controller know when the motor has reached top speed? I'm not sure if it... Hello everybody, I have TSDZ2B 750w 48v 860c Emmabusa from few month and the motor was quiet to the beginning. But he become noisy. No crank, this is a continuous noise when motor run. I think that I burn motor with too long high power session... I have open it, all seems ok. I remount it, no more noise, like new ! I just re-put the greas on the motor gear. Anyone does have the same problem ?

Looks pretty good to me. What do you think?

Just bought this ebike kit used FB Market place was told it was new upon inspection, controller taken apart, missing end plate, burning smell ebikeling controller is very expensive $80 shipping, even then the bike might not work The wheel looks like a normal 9 pin cable, thinking about connecting it to a generic controller There does not look to be anything blown but the fact its been dismantled and sold doubt it will work. the question is will it work with another controller, I got a wiring...
