Who would like to see a new Crown Vic?

OK Group. This is a frequently rehashed subject, and you can only guess how many times it gets brought up in a family full of cops. But suffice to say that I came from a department (LAPD) which STILL uses CVs. However, they are now getting scarce and are "fought" after by the patrol coppers who otherwise have to endure 12 hour days in an Explorer. Chargers are not an option because the bean counters have determined that Chrysler, err ahh, Stellantis, products are too expensive to... Who would like to see a new Crown Vic?

Ford F250 LED headlight upgrade: What nobody tells you about PWM & focal depth

If you’ve ever tried swapping bulbs in a Super Duty dual-reflector housing, you know it’s rarely as simple as a 10-minute job. You drop a pair in, step back, and suddenly your low beams are illuminating squirrel nests while leaving a massive dead patch 50 feet ahead on the asphalt. It’s easy to blame the housing, but the actual bottleneck comes down to how Ford engineered the front-end electricals and optics on these trucks: The Focal Plane Misalignment: Factory Super Duty... 2018 Navigator 3.5 EcoBoost – Catastrophic Cam Phaser Failure, Piston/Valve Contact & Possible Cracked Block – Repairable?

Hey everyone. Looking for some guidance from anyone experienced with the Gen-2 3.5L EcoBoost, especially the 2018 Navigator/Expedition/F-150 version. I have a 2018 Lincoln Navigator 3.5L EcoBoost with around 120k miles. I’ve been tearing the engine down myself after a pretty serious timing failure. I’m going to attach a lot of pictures showing exactly what I found. Background: The engine had the common cam-phaser rattle for quite a while. It originally rattled mainly on cold starts, but over... 2018 Navigator 3.5 EcoBoost – Catastrophic Cam Phaser Failure, Piston/Valve Contact & Possible Cracked Block – Repairable?

Ford’s Flagship Wagons: The 1950-91 Country Squires

From 1950 through 1991, the Country Squire was the absolute top of the line in Ford station wagons. The Ford Motor Company was in the station wagon business almost from the start with its Model T depot hacks—“depot hack” being an uncanny synonym for “station wagon.” That’s where the station wagon originated: as a specialized vehicle for... Ford 300 straight 6 misfire

I have 1996 fuel injected ford 300, i was taking it up the mountain when it started misfiring. I recently replaced the fuel injectors and the ground wire, we checked compression and it is within spec. I recently replaced spark plugs and distributer cap. Not sure what else it could be besides valves not sealing right, I think this because when I was replacing my fuel injectors, there was oil in my intake manifold. If anyone has any ideas on something else it could be let me know.
