High-tech v20 for sale, USD3500 (SOLD)

I’m selling my high-tech v20. I bought it back in July of 2025 and rode it for a almost a year…and it’s just not for me (I much prefer my s40 for the kind of riding I’m doing - though the v20 is easily 10% faster). This is a Larry Oslund (Oz) build that he raced and set records on (if you don't know who Larry is...Google him or the Cruzeum). It was owned by a fellow Canadian who put <150kms on it, before it came to me. I’ve put on maybe ~400kms. The bike has been bike-shop maintained... Read more

2018 Q45 frame for sale $1000

Lightly used Q45, I think 2018. Kept in Dad’s basement for many years. Couple small scratches- see pics. Tires and seat could be offered as well and might soon.

Looking Hard At A S40 But Need Some Advice

I was hit by a car while riding my Schlitter Freestyle. I find that after the accident, I now suffer from pain in my hips and feet when my feet are up on my replacement Freestyle and on my Bacchetta Carbon Aero. I know the pain is gone and I'm comfortable on a Gold Rush. Just wondering if the S40 is, boom, that much lower than the other two-wheel recumbents? The joys of being 67. Would love to get back to riding Metric and Full Centuries. Thanks!!!

My experience with a QX100 and a Q45

For several years now I have been riding a QX100. For about half of that time my n+1 "wish" bike was a Q45 with a Thor seat. Last Fall Cruzbike offered some returned Q45s at a very attractive price and I could not resist. I ordered the bike and the seat. Getting the seat was a bit of a problem. Gregor said the Polish post office wouldn't take it so it would have to go by FedEx at an additional cost of $138, (I think). I paid the extra and finally got it but now FedEx is sending me bills and... Read more

Best Stand/Position for Adjusting Rear Derailleur on Q45?

Am I the only one who finds it difficult to adjust the rear derailleur on the Q45 due to its position? My best solution so far is to hold the boom with my bike stand at its highest setting and support the rear wheel on a 5-gallon bucket to get the bike high enough to readily see the adjustment screws, but I still feel like I am working upside down and backwards. Anyone else have this issue and a solution?

Is Your Brand Getting the Visibility It Deserves?

A strong OOH campaign is more than placing an ad—it’s about choosing the right location, format, timing, and audience. An experienced outdoor advertising company can help brands build visibility through billboards, hoardings, LED screens, transit media, and other high-impact formats. Strategic outdoor advertising can help businesses strengthen market presence and stay visible where their target audience is already present.

Karl's V20 variable seat angle solution

The idea of modifying the V20 so that the seat angle can be adjusted while riding has come up in this forum quite a few times, and some people have actually built some working versions of this. I've been wanting to build my own ever since I saw those other projects, and now I'm finally getting around to do it. With the unmodified V20, climbing very steep hills in the fully reclined position is much harder than climbing on my upright bike, mainly for two reasons: 1. My power output in the... Read more

Mickelson Trail on my Q45

I'm riding the Mickelson Trail in South Dakota on my Q45. We're riding it both ways (Edgemont-Custer-Hill City-Deadwood). About 220 mi total. My Q45 is perfect for this ride. The trail is so well maintained you could definitely ride an S40 too (although I would recommend gravel tires). We also saw Mt Rushmore, Devils Tower, and Jewel Cave (we have a 'sag' car). It's a great ride if any of you are interested.

what would be the speed difference between an S40 with high end wheels and a stock V20C be?

I'm having a fantasy about winning a fair amount in our Canadian lottery, thinking about what the difference in speed would be if I bought an S40 Frameset, and build it up with either Roval Rapide CLX III, or Zipp 303 Firecrest or 353 NSW wheelset, or, maybe an Envy SES 4.5 wheelset, lightweight gearing and Sram red AXS hydraulic brakes. And compare it to a Stock V20C, what would the speed difference be between the 2. Add in a Rotor 34x50 oval ring crankset. The reason for this is I have a... Read more

Which is better for gravel - A or Q?

Not sure how many folks have ridden both the A4x and Q45, but if you have I’m wondering if there is an advantage of one over the other for gravel riding. Also, I'm sure there are plenty of posts here, but if you could share your thoughts on tires (brand and size, both what worked and what hasn’t) that would be appreciated too. Thanks!
