Thanks for the report — “ICP used to top up canister goes poof and no cycles added.” You were right, and we found exactly what was eating your ICP. WHAT YOU HIT (two real bugs) Agent top-ups were silently capped at 100 billion cycles (0.1T). The agent flow converted your ICP to cycles correctly, but then deposited at most 0.1T cycles into the canister — no matter how much ICP you sent. That is precisely your symptom: 1.5 ICP in, 0.1T cycles out. The surplus cycles stayed inside the backend instead of reaching your canister. The built-app (user) top-up sent ICP to the wrong CMC account and swallowed the error. The conversion transfer used the CMC’s main account instead of the caller-derived subaccount the CMC expects, and the “notify” result was ignored. So the app reported success while the ICP parked at the CMC and no cycles were minted at all. WHAT WE FIXED Both top-up flows now convert at the live CMC rate and deliver EVERY minted cycle to your canister. No cap, no leftovers. The user flow now uses the correct CMC subaccount + memo, and conversion failures surface as real errors instead of fake success. A proper Top-up flow was added to the canister page in the app: amount + presets, a live “you get X cycles” quote, the cost breakdown, your balance with a warning when short, and one-tap “Approve & top up”. Agent instructions updated: agents now transfer the exact amount plus a 0.0002 ICP buffer for ledger fees, and abandoned deposits can be refunded with refundDeposit(depo

There is something wrong with top up, when i asked AI to top up my canister, it took 1.5 ICP and only added 0.1T cycles. Something wrong with topping up canisters too in built app, many errors. But i managed to build token launcher, can make tokens, only issue is that ICP used to top up canister goes poof and no cycles added. Need to fix that, NB building cost lot less than losing ICP to bugs. Here the test token canister: wlr2h-viaaa-aaaab-qhiaq-cai Nice, it got fixed, this setup is lot better than Caffeine built. Builds better, fixes code itself, tests itself and is super cheap.

I think your mistakenly ready the thread wrong. I was talking to spoon who refer me as an old friend. I dont have any old friend in the crypto space much besides my friends from my old telegram group. We use to run a telegram group for another project on the BNB network. Its been soo long.

No those canisters are not open to the public to participate in. As in they are not open to LPs. We had a policy and still maintain that very limited canisters carry user funds(where developers and/or team have access). The two exceptions that were opened to user funds was the Sol-ICP canister and the Cloak CLMM. We have communicated with the cloak community that their limit at the pool will be capped at 10k$ until it’s become under DAO and its code is public. Both canisters were opened to public under production readiness so we can see how they behave with users. As to VP shares and who holds what we put it very clearly to everyone in the proposal with VP shares translated to non tech people
