HTTP err-1.

When I try to send a route to my networked helm unit, it finds the device but I get HTTP err-1. How do I solve this.

Have i broken my Macarthur Hat?

If i measure resistance across the Canbus port (not connected to the canbus) - it reads 30 ohms The orange LED is permanently on. I tried to add an Waveshare Canbus hat as well as the Macarthur, looks like it might have broken it. Any comments?

Connecting Autohelm/Nautec Z075 to OpenPlotter on Pi 4b using Macarthur Hat?

Hello, I have an older AH1000 analog tiller autopilot and a Z075 "Radio Navigation Interface" that supposedly takes NEMA 0183 track correction sentences and adjusts the autopilot to maintain the course. There were two versions of the "analog" autopilots, the first one has a dial on the autopilot the was used to set the course, and the newer (but still analog) version that has 6 buttons, and a 4 pin remote control connector. I have the latter. I found a PDF of the manual for the Z075, which actually is the manual for the older Z070 which only worked on Nema 0180, but contained a printed sheet that said the Z075 is the newer model that can do 0180, 0182 and 0183 sentences, and otherwise the manual is correct. However, the Z075 3 wire cable doesn't match the colors mentioned in the manual. It has a blue, a red and a possibly brown or tan wire. Whereas the manual states: "The three core cable should be led directly to the Radio Navigation Receiver. The green/yellow wire should be connected to earth and the blue wire connected to the signal line of the Receivers autopilot output. The brown wire should be connected to the + 12Vsupply of the Navigation Receiver." I assume that the red wire likely replaces the "brown" wire mentioned and should connect to the 12v supply that's common to the Pi (via the Macarthur Hat which has a buck converter to supply 5v to the Pi) and the tiller autopilot, and the blue is the NEMA 0183 + transmit signal wire from the Macarthur Hat. Hello I have a 33ft Endeavour sailboat and she is equipped with Raymarine SPX-5 Wheel System with a flux compass, ST6002 Pilot Controller, and wheel drive unit (ST4000+ not sure). Autopilot would work fine for first few minutes and go off course constantly and after playing with different flux compass placements and numerous recalibration I simply gave up. I solo sail more these days and I NEED AUTOPILOT. PLEASE HELP I got a raspberry pi 4 hooked up and manage to get a generic gps dongle and DigitalYacht Wind100 Transducer working on OpenPlotter. Still working on Datamarine S100KL speed paddle sensor (this is ANCIENT) via Arduino to Pi but I am not too optimistic. From what I gather I need following hardware to get started in Pypilot pypilot hat ( comes with a remote ...yeahhhhhh ) motor controller 7a ( is this okay for my wheel drive motor? ) rudder feedback ( do I really need this? Raymarine SPX-5 never had one ) Am I missing something? I prefer to order all at once to save shipping charge and time. Thanks Joe

Help setting up pypilot on openplotter

Hey there, I've been working this weekend to install my pypilot and was hoping to post some photo's of the installation and feedback after configuring but I'm having a hard time getting it to work. I have a raspberry pi 4 with the MacAurthur Hat, power management, maiana and pin header. I installed it and after a ton of troubleshooting was able to get it to work yesterday prior to heading out for the night. When I came back today, I ran all of the cabling nicely, and cleaned it all up and now having the same issue where my pi says 'no motor controller'. I've checked the cabling, and also tried a separate cable and shorter run but still won't connect. The controller just has a solid red led. I removed the serial connection and then readded it but nothing. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue or has feedback. WakeAtlas - AIS, port webcams and ocean data explorer

Hi everyone, I’m building WakeAtlas, a free, non-commercial maritime research site: https://wakeatlas.uk/ It combines vessel positions and saved reports with port webcams, nearby-vessel counts, weather forecasts and ocean observations on an interactive globe. Our AIS sources include AISStream and feeds from Norway and Finland. I thought it might interest people here who work with marine data and build their own displays. I would welcome feedback on whether the report ages, sources and coverage gaps are clear, and whether it is easy to distinguish observations from forecasts. WakeAtlas is a standalone website, not an OpenPlotter plugin or a navigation system. Missing AIS reports do not mean an area is empty. If you have a moment to try it, what would make the interface or data presentation more useful to you? Thanks, William

Pisugar 3 Plus UPS

Hi there! Is there a way to make Openplotter work with a Pisugar 3 Plus? (See docs.pisugar.com and please note that I do not have any interests in the company!) It acts, amongst other things, as an uninterruptible power supply in case the RPi gets electrically disconnected, and avoids having to reset it from the start in such a case. I bought one, which works perfectly with OSes that do not make use of the I2C connectors, but makes a mess in OP, especially with Pypilot (IMU not even detected), as it is not in the recognized sensors list, and though its adress (57) should be usable. Thought this could be a great addition to the system.
