Hi all Just thought i'd introduce myself, My Name is Guy and i used to Fly RC planes / Helicopters many years ago and now have developed an interest in small Drones, i may get back into basic RC A/C flying in the future. i live local and am thinking of applying for membership, i might head down to the field in he near future and introduce myself. I use BF configurator on my ubuntu laptop to configure about 10 cine drones (2S,3s and 4S); all use ELRS. Today when I tried to connect a new drone - Darkstar22 - to BF Configurator, I received a message: " Warning the following problems with your configuration were detected: The configurator version used (10.10.0(c97deaf) does not support firmware BF configurator 25.12.1. Using a new version of the firmware with an outdated version of Configurator.... may cause.. firmware corruption ...non-working craft. Betaflight Configurator 0.0.1 is available for download (link provided) You need to fix these problems before attempting to fly your craft." I asked Gemini AI will the new Betaflight Configurator 0.0.1 work with my current drones that were configured with BF version 10.10.0 ? Should I try to keep my current BF for use with my old drones and also have the new BF version for the new drone? This allows us to use the flying site under the rules set by our association (MAAA) and the federal government (CASA) .
