I’m torn between the SHANDING model with a cab and the one without. I’ll use it in my orchard. Could you tell me the pros and cons of each?
Hi i have a 1961 john deere 1010 utility that i just bought cheap at a local auction and now i have a few questions about it first about the PTO, it doesn't engage or disengage all the way unless you are holding the lever it will stop if you keep holding it back and it will fully engage if you hold it forward but if you let go it will slow down but keep spinning. I have tried tightening the adjustment for the lever but it didn't change anything also the lever dosent feel like its doing what... John deere 1010
Hi, Since last november i live in Alberta, Canada. Before that i lived and farmed in the Netherlands, Europe. In my live i collected scale models of John Deere tractors. On my farm i use john deeres. Just got a 1981 950 and joining in order to tap in to the knowledge base. Got the tractor because of its size and the fact that it is all mechanical.
2013 1025R with 54” deck. Cuts fine now (thanks to many of you) even though a lot of the area has long parallel, 2-3 inch deep, front wheel-width ruts from the previous owner or the nearby salt marshes. Think "Ruffles™️ potato chips". Tried walking the area with a backpack blower ... takes forever. Bought a 60" sweeper that I pull behind an ATV which works reasonably well, but also slow and requires a LOT of dumping and strength to pull the cord to dump it. It only dumps down, so no way... Collecting clippings from my 3 acres of near corrugated lawn.

I have a 20 year old x540 with about 750 hours on it. It has always run well with no major issues until last week. After I finished mowing and went to start the tractor nothing happened when I truned the key to start. The battery was 6 years old so I replaced that-no change. There is no current at the trigger wire on the solenoid. There is power to the dash and the carb. solenoid kicks in with th key in the run posistion. I checked all the fuses, the ignition switch, brake switch, seat... x540, nothing happens when key turned to start

Talk me off the ledge. My 8 year old 1025r has been good to me. But always a tad undersized in lift needs, and BH power. Many times I need a little more, and over do it on the safety end of things pushing limits. But I have some sloped land and the lower tractor has helped in that regard. The 2025r doesn’t give me much more. But the Kubota B2601 does. (These are the only two dealerships here on my island in Hawaii.) I’m very tempted to go with the B2601 with 3 function, self leveling FEL... Might Change Color - Talk Me Down

Brand new 2026 s220 lawn tractor.....1 week old won't climb a 15-20 degree small hill???? Not even with the mower deck up and pto off???? Yes the pin is in for the transaxle, yes all fluids are in range. But really? Growing up riding lawn mowers would just about go up any hill until you flipped it......
