Hey All, Seems like for the past couple of weeks they have been absent. I have called several times and have to suffer the panic-inducing banjo music for an extended time, all the while the automated voice says the wait time is 5 minutes. If you select the option to call back, I do not receive a callback. Anyone else experiencing any issues? TIA

This one came from a tech I work with, and I thought it was worth sharing. Restaurant walk-in cooler. Losing refrigerant slowly — maybe every 4–6 weeks it would stop holding temp. I am working on an old 4 ton R22 rooftop unit, it is a Carrier with their fixed orifice (Accutrol) evaporator. The dryer filter was restricted , replace that, vacuumed and recharged 6.5lb per label than added another 4.5 ounces until the sight glass in the new dryer ran clear. Pressures are 65 / 270 and the typical 20 degree difference in supply and return temps are being reached. Hello everyone. I’m looking into upgrading the battery setup for my trolling motor and keep seeing lithium batteries recommended. I currently use lead-acid batteries, but the weight and limited runtime have me considering switching to a lithium trolling motor battery. If you've made the switch, how much did you notice in runtime, weight, charging time, and overall performance? I got into a conversation with a contractor a while back who was still angry about a claim that got denied because he couldn't produce the records on an install from over a year earlier. I can't tell if that's a normal Tuesday or if he just had bad luck with a bad distributor, and I'd rather ask people who actually do the work than keep guessing. Three things I'm curious about: 1. Have you had a warranty claim denied or dragged out over missing paperwork? What was actually missing? 2. If... Warranty claims denied over paperwork — how common is this really?

I have a customer that has a older Lutron lighting control system. They're wanting to upgrade the system to something that can communicate back to the BAS over BACnet. Based on my initial review of the system it seems likely that an upgraded version of a Lutron system would likely be the most cost effective method, but I am not 100% sure what options exist out there to retrofit these types of systems. Been looking at some posts around here and notice a lot of mention of P-traps for A/C condensate lines. I have a forced air furnace/air handler in my basement with a standard A/C unit (condenser out side / A/C coil in the main supply truck about a couple inches over the furnace/air handler. The condensate line comes out of the main trunk and runs to the floor just above the drain near the furnace. No p-trap. This is the way it was installed when the house was built (2003). Is this a...
