I was having a clear out of things I have saved and bookmarked on KP thought it was time after 12 years of knitting when I came across my knitalongs wow has it really been 7 years since I started them , the first one was started after I got asked many times how I changed a pair of pants to a onesie , little did I know I would end up doing quite a few more knitalongs and making some special friends along the way . I would love to knit this blanket. I’m having such a hard time buying yarn. I thought I’ll buy from mish and puff but I hear it’s very not good yarn. Purlsoho had beautiful yarn but They were out of almost everything I ordered. so is this a good yarn? Benat softer?It a lot of work and concentration doing the mosaic blanket so I want a good cotton yarn. Yesterday it rained, and I felt crumby, so: Couch + Netflix + Hot tea + Rasta scraps = my new hat! Last year I made a Santa hat using this pattern, and a hat and earband for a friend, but never got around to making one for myself. Situation sorted! I love this pattern! It takes just a few hours to knit, and the brim of the hat, knitted solo, makes a great earband. I will be making a blanket titled Centered by Carolyn Currier. The pattern calls for fingering yarn to be held double, which I will be doing for myself with yarn called for in the pattern. I have purchased the kit and it will be a great winter project. In the meantime my son saw the blanket and wants one. With his family I needed to make sure it was machine washable. I chose Malabrigo Arroyo in 12 colors for his blanket. I had a lot of fun using AI for help with place of colors. I’m not sure... What Fun Using AI for an upcoming project
