Much has been written about the "too good to be true" battery. I thought that the latest articles cast doubt on the authenticity of the claims but here's a new one for those following https://www.topgear.com/car-news/tech/donuts-labs-solid-state-battery-has-hit-409whkg-can-tech-transform-evs
Has anyone charged their phone successfully from Gravity's console USB-C outlets? Both of my Gravity's outlets will charge my Pixel 10 Pro XL phone very briefly on plugging in, at up to maybe eight watts for less than a second, then they shut off. Power comes back on again, briefly, when the cable is unplugged and replugged. My guess is this is a USB firmware issue. The phone can fast charge at up to 45 watts. Maybe draw is this is shutting down Gravity's USB-C port. Wireless charging... Read more
I was in an accident and had to have my entire front bumper replaced as well as some supports for the block which houses the air conditioner. . I’ve been waiting six weeks so far for the parts to come in. Does anybody have any idea when I might get these parts? i’m so lucky that my car is drivable.
on my Lucid air when I unplug my power cable from my car after having finished charging below 80% a grinding sound comes from the rear right wheel well that lasts for about 10 seconds and then stops if I charge my car to 80% this never occurs, has anybody had that happen? I was able to show the Mobile technician when he came out for my two-year warranty check and he heard it and I had it recorded. He thinks it might be a some kind of cooling pump for the battery.
Hello All, I recently purchased a Lucid Gravity Touring. A terrific vehicle, love driving it. I am noticing that the key fob is not very responsive. The doors does not automatically unlock as I come closer to the vehicle, the lock and unlock buttons takes a few seconds to get a response. Its software is up-to-date and its just over a week since I bought the vehicle so I am not sure if it is because of the battery. Is this expected?
So today when dropping my kids at school, I raised up the height, overly cautious so they don’t hit the curb when exiting. But when I went to lower, a ground clearance screen popped up advising how close I was to the ground as it was lowering. Is this new? Never saw this before.
Has anyone else had this issue with wheel covers separating from the wheels? I noticed that a few fins of the wheel covers of both back wheels (22") were not sitting flat. I pushed them into position but the clip that holds them in did not have a firm click feel. They continued to push outwards and eventually after a few weeks, one separated on a trip and the other is still not sitting firmly in. LUCID has not been helpful in getting these replaced as they are clearly flawed parts. I... Read more
Is the front registration plate (black plastic) holder fastened through the bumper (bad) or double-sided tape (good)?
Am I the only one who looks at the bottom of the decklid/trunk? I would think this is easiest to spot on a white Lucid but has anyone else experienced this? It almost appears rust colored. Here's the fun part. While I live in the Chicago area, my Air has spent 2 winters in the Phoenix area (from December to March) and rarely driven the winter of 2024/2025 and never in deep snow or icy horrid conditions (wasn't worth the risk to me). From the middle to the right is very smooth to the... Read more
Interesting video with some aggregated studies. Pattern appears- Good thermal management and high-voltage (800-900V) is recipe for great longevity, temperature is the enemy, sitting at full voltage or C-rates when charging...
