Swift 590 RS intermittent electrical fault

Hi everyone, Our 21 yr old Swift motorhome has developed a fault I cannot make head or tail of. Without warning, or any of these thing being used, the supply stops. The things are,, hob igniter, toilet flush, water pump, as well as usb sockets in the rear. All these are on the same side of the van and presumably are from the same source. When we plug the EHU in, all work again, and remain working for some time after disconnection. Thanks for reading this so far even if you have no... Swift 590 RS intermittent electrical fault

Routing an inverters output through the MH 240v circuit

So I decided to get an inverter to run a Remoska whilst off grid. I have a couple of brand new 120ah batteries so no issue there. There was really only one suitable location for the inverter in my PVC unless I wanted metres of cable supplying it from the LB's (Hefty cable isnt cheap and routing it woukd be problematic) In addition this location is the other end of the lounge to the kitchen. This means that the inverter output socket is only about 30cm from a 240v socket. So, being a smart... Routing an inverters output through the MH 240v circuit

Power Station installation

I have a portable station that I want to install in my camper or motorhome. I've googled and it says I can take the 220v output directly to the fuse board or directly into the 16a connector. I've tested the 220v out into the 16a hookup connector and it does work all my appliances but don't want cables through windows. Any ideas without pulling away all the wall cladding to get to the 16a or would it be a long cable to the fuse board?

Out of my window again.

How many people can do what I do, look out at 5 am and see a young fox or three. At times I see hundreds of Kranes and they can be extremely noisy, but the morning I took this there were only 4. The Storks sometimes get so close to the tractors I think they'll get run over, they ever do. I love watching the foxes, but there are a few people in the village who would like to give me a gun because when they are older they are very cunning, oh yes, and get into even what one would think are... Hi

Hi, I’m Tim, new to this forum. I’ve recently bought a 20 year old Lunar Pinnacle. I’m looking forward to spending a lot more time in Spain in the next few years.

12 volt Interior spot lamp none functioning for beginners.

This is an example where the multimeter takes away the guess work for folk checking out low voltage motorhome lighting is it the bulb which has failed or is it the 12volt positive or the negative return connections or the switch assembly?? multimeter set to ohms for checking the bulb or the tried and tested method of dismantling a similar lamp in the motorhome and trying the swap method of diagnostics. In this case 12volt 10-watt halogen spot lamp bulb was the culprit.
