I been doing research on the is300 platform before I get one, and the first things that I see that is recommended to do is change every liquid including oil, coolant, trans, diff, brake, and etc. Replace upper and lower ball joints/suspension refresh, timing belt, water pump, vvti seals, valve cover gasket, radiator hoses and most things plastic/silicone. Am I missing anything? Not to mention it will be my first car and yes, I know it's a 20+ year old car that needs to be taken care of and... looking to get a Is300

Just joined, I have a 2008 Lexus IS250, brake pedal feel problems.
Adding a Class D monoblock amp for subs to my ‘01 IS300, and the remote turn on wire from the JVC head unit doesn’t have 12 volts. Thinking I’ll tap the 7.5 amp TV fuse one the passenger side fuse box. Anyone done this? Is the fuse only hot when ignition is on?
I am slowly working to being the car to a "modern" standard, one of my hang ups in this is my beloved XD16 gauge mated to my innovate LC2 for WBO2. I love the surface mount. I am now at a point where I actually decided to take it on. I am building a CAN gauge using a 32 bit microcontroller to surface mount or incorporate into the cluster. But this means I need to build out a can network. Upon this realization, the emu will be down, so I will wire in vss, ditch the lc2 and wire in a wbo2... Updating the car to a modern era

Owns 2003 Lexus IS300 from Connecticut
2002 IS300 SportCross, Original owner, 98k miles I've had this issue for several years now, and it's finally driven me nuts. Please bear with me as I tell my tale of woe. Here's the main thing - all of my HVAC works fine - recirc/fresh, AC/heat, modes, mixes - everything. I've tested it until I'm blue in the face and can't find anything not working. BUT - at least one of the HVAC/Air servos are spinning and clicking, seemingly randomly, and the noise is infuriating. It happens when the... Another HVAC / Air Servo problem

Just bought a 2010, really low miles, need to change in dash to be CarPlay compatible. Appreciate recommendations.

Its now been a month and he has still not returned the car to me, he states that he has checked and redid everything and is sure it is all 100% correct as far as timing etc that he has changed, however the car is not firing on #1 and #6 so its running... 1 and 6 wont fire after timing job HELP! car been in shop 1 month!
