I am looking at adding a full frame camera to my collection. In all honesty, I doubt very much that I need one or that I will benefit from having one. I am in no hurry at all, and will just casually keep my eye open for a well used bargain. I am still very much the amatuer who is enjoying the hobby. The reason for getting one is simply "why not". Done with camera gear for 2018. I'll be stocking the wine cellar this year.

I plan on updating my iPhone 14 Pro Max this year to the iPhone 18 Pro Max but feel I should at least look into the Duo. I understand the Pro Max has a slightly better camera and variable aperture. The Duo display might come in handy as a drone display, a display for managing Qobuz on my Stream1, and general surfing, but I have a relatively new iPad for in home use. My iPad is too big for a drone display. That would be the biggest draw for me and I doubt there are holders available yet but... Read more

Well I met up with another Wanderbox the other day and toured grand Teton park for his channel. We met up again today at a dispersed camping site. You can stay fourteen days for free. Camping by a river and we have wildlife all around. Claire is a senior this year so it will be the last time I watch and photograph her doing our favorite sport. Meet was at noon so lighting was harsh 1. Still going through some cypress images from last October. We had some wonderful weather/light. We also had some washout days. One early morning there was wonderful fog/mist. The light was not as cooperative- at least for what I wanted. Still was a wonderful morning. Thoughts appreciated- it is how we all learn.
