Hi, I have a 2015 Odyssey with 135,000 miles on it. I am STUMPED.... and need help! May of 2025 I had the Alternator Replaced. December of 2025 I had the Timing Belt and Water pump replaced, and a couple motor mounts that were broken replaced. January of 2026 it was serviced directly through my local Honda Dealer for the warranty bulletin for the Piston Ring seal failure. Hi guys. I’m trying to diagnose a problem that just came up this morning with my wife’s 2012 EX (231,000 miles) and would appreciate any input. I think it’s either torque converter-related, or electrical, based on a search around here. When idling, in gear, with AC on it gives several quick jerks like it wants to stall. Shifting into neutral minimizes the problem (both frequency and harshness), but not completely (torque converter?), and turning off the AC but leaving it in gear... Jerk/shudder/almost stall at idle

My front inner and outer tie rods rusty and frozen with each other, the deal said they can not do alignment due to the frozen tie rods. They suggest to replace these tie rods. any suggestion I can get cheap OEM part? Toyota always has 25% off the parts promotion. But I rarely see any HONDA has such promotion. I've removed the drivers side back panel to run wires for a Bluetti power station as well as removing the honda vac. I found a subwoofer behind it but I get no sound out of it. I see the slider for it in the control panel but that makes no difference. Do they install the speaker but not have the factory amp to drive it? Or is that the factory amp is blown for the subwoofer. The stereo works fine otherwise. Also, if the car has a rear seat DVD does it not have rear speakers? The front-rear... Subwoofer doesn't work

Long-time reader on this forum for both my 2011 Odyssey and my older one — figured it's time to give back. The problem: On hot Arizona days (100°F+), A/C is great on a cold start, but after driving and heat-soaking the engine, cooling drops off noticeably for 10+ minutes. It'll recover after 15-20 minutes at highway speed, but that's no help on short trips — you just bake. What I ruled out: Relays, blend door motors, cabin air filter — no change. I know there are lots of threads on this subject out there but most are old and well, I'm too lazy to track down the best one to add my post to. So, 2014 Odyssey with 6 speed trans. Bought used from a Honda dealer and all upkeep was done by the original owner at the same Honda deal which is where they bought it. I assume that the ATF was serviced per spec. I bought it at around 89k. At about 98k I did a 3x drain and fill using Valvoline MaxLife ATF. I didn't notice any real changes except... Honda to Valvoline to Idemitsu ATF report

I've had my 2011 Touring for 5+ years and only recently started hearing a pop noise when i open the sliding door on the driver's side. This is the door that gets most use in our family. It's been happening intermittently for the last 12-18 months. I tried to apply shinitsu grease to a few spots along the door jam, and this seemed to help. Randomly get fcw failed and ldw light on as well. When this happens the fob has no functions and power doors/hatch dont work. Have to start by putting fob by push to start. Lately been coming on about 5 minutes into drive, then 15 minutes down road goes away. Back story haven't had van to long, 156k miles. around 1500 miles ago battery was dead. Blue tooth stays on even with van off, hadn't been driven for week, so thought that drained it. We got 60 miles down road and engine started... Fcw & ldw failed. No other lights

2011 EX-L minimum safe thickness for rear brake rotor?

Hi everyone, I have a 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L with about 112k miles. For the past few months, I’ve been having a hard/jerky shift from 1st to 2nd gear. Today, for the first time, when I accelerated from a stop, it felt like the transmission was not shifting into 2nd gear and the van hesitated/struggled a little. When I slowed down, it finally shifted into 2nd. I had the automatic transmission fluid replaced at a Honda dealer about 6 months ago, so I’m surprised they are now recommending... 2012 Odyssey Transmission Issue

2012 Odyssey. After replacing alternator we had issues with power steering. Replaced pump(with OEM pump, replaced Rack, thoroughly flushed lines and sensor multiple times. checked belt and tensioner. system was bled completely. Power steering still goes out intermittently, especially at low speeds. not Sure where to go from here.

Forgive me for not being as methodical as some of you in my diagnostic procedure due to physical limitations. On my 2016 EX-L, the rear wiper motor isn't receiving power. I removed the motor, gave it 12V power and it turned. The rear washer fluid pump also works, along with other functions on the right stalk. Only the wiper motor function doesn't work.
