Colorado - 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road 65k Miles | 35s | 5.29 Gears | CBI Armor | Fully Built | LLOD

$49,000 - located south of Denver Colorado 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road 4x4 with only ~65,000 miles. This is the original Last Line of Defense (LLOD) Tacoma , well known in the Tacoma/overland community and featured extensively on LLOD’s website and YouTube channel. It has been purpose-built over the years with high-quality components for off-road and overland use. I'm great friends with the original owner (LLOD) and I am the second owner. Members Spotted Thread

We need a place to post our random member spottings... here it is: While traveling from New Mexico to Tennessee I was keeping a sharp eye out for any overland rigs to wave at... to my disappointment I didn't have much luck until I pulled into a random gas station near the TN/AL state line. With the plea for "potty... Potty... POTTY!" from the back seat, I had the pedal down for the next available bathroom to avoid another wet car seat incident. As I pulled into an empty parking spot I... Read more

Let them eat SPAM!

I think it was Marie Antoinette that said "Let them eat cake" and they chopped off her head. 225 years later, and I get the same reaction to Spam. Wife won't touch it, kids run from it, and even the roaches scurry around it. I don't get it. When I pop open a can of Spam and that big gelatinous lump falls onto the paper plate still holding the shape of the can, my mouth can't help but water. Its a delicate balance of salt, fat and nitrites that make my taste buds tingle. (My left arm... Read more

Cargo straps? Who is using what?

I am in the need for a few straps. Tired of using generic turnbuckle straps for my roof rack. Looking for something for my fuel and water canisters as well as bins that are easier to tighten than turnbuckles style. What are you all using? Ive seen the "Ultimate Bungee" but not sure if it is a gimmick or functional.

Travel Planning Italy - Georgia - Armenia

Hello everyone. I'm planning a trip from northern Italy to Armenia. I had hoped to visit Azerbaijan as well, but the borders are still closed. I'm 60 years old and plan to leave on May 31, 2027, riding a 2026 Honda Africa Twin 1100 Adventure Sports. I'll travel alone, mostly wild camping. In total, it will be over 11,600 km, passing through Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Georgia on the outward journey. On the return journey, I'll also pass through Greece, North Macedonia... Read more
