Staying in Avon this week to fish the HVSFT end of the week. So far we have fished the point, north of it at 43, ramp 38 and 49. Lots of small pomps and some small blues and kingfish(sea mullet). A black drum and a couple small flounder. All on some form of cut bait and sometimes tipped with sandflea fishbites. Hopefully gets a bit better for the tournament. I am a man down for our team if anyone wants to fill in. Fish days fri and sat.

I just got an early 90s Van Staal VS200 serviced and I want to get back out there. I stopped for a few years just because I wasn't having any luck! Getting the reel back has fired me up again! Can any of you give me suggestions on what plugs you've found to be successful? I like to go out at sunrise. Maybe I should try dusk. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Wasn't expecting much today at dead low tide but freezer burned shrimp was the ticket. 2 reds both measured 30". Lots of small pompano pecking shrimp off hooks.

Was only out for about one and half hours this afternoon before the rain set in. Decent size spot were biting as soon as the line hit the water. Other stuff included baby croaker, baby spot, small puffers, small pompano and a small speckled trout.
