Given how much fun the 987 version of this thread is, I thought I'd start one in the new 981 forum so that I can live vicariously through you guys and gals. It might take some time for this thread to get traction, but maybe Ken can make this one a sticky as well. I'll start by saying that I'm going to the 981 launch at my dealer ~5 hours from now.

My 2015 981 Boxster GTS has damaged rubber on the driver's door sill, caused by dragging shoes when entering and exiting the car. How to fix?

What do y'all think of this? I installed turbonite emblem on hood and wheel caps. Wheel caps looks dope. It matches the brake dust color lol.

I’m beyond tired of the durametric : first you must cut down a tree with a herring, then the key on, then the emergency flashers THEN? “ cable not ready”. In my case it becomes the worst part of the oil change and my newest computer doesn’t even have the correct port to hook it up. Since it has performed faithfully for 10 years I believe it has paid for itself and then some, I need a new one. I was wondering what do you guys recommend for a replacement? Hello all, I've been a very happy owner and driver of my MY2014 981 Cayman 2.7 PDK with Sports Chrono. Bought it with 74k km on the clock 2 years ago and I am now at 93k km (46k and 58k miles). Since a few months I notice more clunky shifts and since about a month I notice vibrations in the car starting at 125 km/h (78 mph). Both phenomena are intermittent, clunky shifts are more pronounced when cold. What can be the root causes and how do I fix this? Some more details about...
