So I collected “my future ongoing money pit/project” at the weekend a 1987 2.5 Lux Red…..Outside great but the Burgundy inside not so great! Plan to fully refurbish interior and initially was reaching out to see if anyone had knowledge of trimmers/companies that can replace hardboard on door cards as bowed quite badly / not fitting on top edges. Is that feasible does that service exist? All the material and vinyl is in good shape. Any help greatly appreciated.

***Porsche in the Park 2026 – News update*** Just four weeks to go and a couple of news items to share: Porsche Centre Aberdeen will once again provide raffle prizes and Porsche Centre staff will manage the raffle on the day. Ticket sales will end at 2.30pm and the raffle draw will be at 3pm followed by awarding the certificates and winding up the event. Hopefully by moving the raffle a little earlier in the schedule there will be more winners still on site to collect their prizes before... Read more
Hi all, looking for a 901/2 gearbox. Ideally a 5sp but 4sp considered. Many thanks all
Well, it's a new experience for me and the 981 GTS I acquired on 17 July! This is my first experience of proper wind in the hair (I wish) motoring and there are no regrets at taking that step. My 2023 Macan S is still present so I feel as if all bases are covered. Now, to the rain, an hour after it started I got into the car which had been getting drenched for an hour or so, all was well UNTIL I put the seat belt on, that was soaking wet, passenger belt dry as a bone. Has anyone... Read more

I have a 1985 3.2 engine in my 1973 911, my ex hillclimb car, now retired to the road. It is a fabulous car with a fab engine, 120K miles in, never been apart. This engine works perfectly, smooth, hard acceleration, rock steady tick over at 800 rpm. Cold and hot starting is perfect and so is 32 mpg on 99 E5 ESSO. But.... One very long standing issue (since 1985 when the engine went in) has been a 'jerking' of the engine when 'just' coming off tick over to (say) steady acceleration. There... Read more

Hi Folks, Does anyone have a 968 Manual Flywheel Lock for sale or loan please? Looks like these are rarer than hens' teeth or being sold at astronomically rip-off prices. Many thanks David
I am unable to open the petrol flap after unlocking the car, all other doors are OK. Have tried to lock and unlock with the key no change, any advis. thank you Ali
On my new 992.2GTS I purchased the front and rear car dash cam option and decided fit it myself rather than pay over £500 to have it fitted. The new cars now come with the prewired option, although you still have to purchase the harnesses for both cameras and remove some facias to locate the connectors. It is a bit fiddly to fit but there are good informations available on the web. After fitting you still have to go into dealer mode to set up the camera for the type of battery for the car... If anyone is going to Classics at the Castle on Sunday, then hope to see you there. I am taking both the Targa and the Coupe, so trying to get them clean and fingers crossed for the weather! cheers Mark
