You’ve replaced the radar sensor. The repair is complete…or is it? On supported BMW vehicles, Active Cruise Control may require a Radar Sensor: Static Start-Up procedure before the vehicle can be returned to the customer. Without the correct coverage, the job may need to be sent elsewhere, adding delays, outsourcing costs, and disruption to your workflow. The latest Snap-on® diagnostic software adds this coverage for more BMW models, helping technicians complete more ACC-related repairs in-house, maintain control of the repair process and return vehicles to customers with confidence. You’ve replaced the RADAR sensor. The repair is nearly complete. Without the correct calibration function, the vehicle may still need to be sent to a third party, adding delays, administrative work and potentially lost revenue. The latest Snap-on® diagnostic software adds Front RADAR Dynamic Aiming coverage for 2024+ Mazda CX-50 and CX-90 vehicles. This allows technicians to complete more ADAS repairs in-house, directly from a supported diagnostic platform. Because Dynamic Aiming does not require a physical target, shops can complete the required recalibration efficiently, keep control of the repair and return vehicles to customers sooner. I have both MT-3500 and MT-3505 gas analyzer machines from mid 1990s. both only boot to courser prompt, never into home screen. Machines worked fine. Then machines were let sit for years. Now they don't boot. The rechargeable internal bios battery was dead, but now it is good and charged up. And for the last 10 years, I haven't found one of these machines that boot, they only boot up to courser. This leads me to believe that there is some sort of reset procedure that I don't know about. Any information would be helpful.

I'm interested in buying one of these but I'd like to know if it's capable of actually triggering modules? Can I enter service mode for electronic parking brakes?
I found a good deal on a used unit which stated the battery was dead and works fine while using the a/c adapter. After buying a new battery the unit will not turn on unless plugged in. I took it apart to inspect and found that component Q47 was blown on the board next to the main power trace coming from the battery. I am hoping someone would be gracious enough to post the part number of this chip so I can replace the damaged component on my unit. FYI - all that is required to identify the component is to take the screws out of the back, flip it over and take the top off. The Q47 chip should be visible without any more disassembly. Reassembly requires aligning the positive battery connection tab to correct position on case with a pair of needle nose pliers through the battery hole. Thanks!
