I have an 03 R6 and have gone through 3 R/Rs over the years. Last year I ordered the mosfet kit in hopes of finally getting rid of this issue, and a year later, it's back. The issue this time is that the wires with the mosfet kit were connected to the stock wires, and the stock wires have turned black. The mosfet kit comes with 10ga wire and the stock wiring is 12 ga and I think the difference in gauges has built up heat and caused the burning of the wires. I am ordering a new stator and... Wiring to solve the dreaded R/R issue

So i bought this R6 not too long ago. It ran great for a while, then it had problems starting and there was gas in the oil. I rebuilt the carbs and now it starts fine. But now it is stumbling bad at 10K rpm. After a few seconds it will get over it and run like normal. Any ideas? Im lost at this point

'86 Slabbie Gixxer - still have it, punched to 771, 36mm Mikuni smooth-bores, Stage III Dynojet/Factory mixed kit, DYNA Ignition, lotsa custom parts... had it since '92 - 34+ years and it is 40+ decades old... flies... ... Hi everyone, this is my first post. I'm 20 years old, I live in Mexico, and I have a problem with my '09 R6. Any idea what it could be? My R6 won't rev past 6,000 rpm, whether in neutral or in gear. It starts right up on the first try and sounds fine. I’ve checked several things: new ORIGINAL ignition coil (Mitsubishi) and spark plugs (NGK CR10EIX), camshaft timing is correct, timing chain and tensioner are fine, battery is fine, primary and secondary fuel injectors are fine, valve... R6 with locked revolutions

So I had an engine swap done recently on my 08 R6S and when I trailered it home I got to ride about 7 miles before it started overheating. I'm thinking it's a failed water pump but wanted another opinion as I am no expert. Coolant is coming out of both of these holes but not from the weep on the actual pump. Is it the pump or something else?

Had to change the rear tire on my 2013 R6, and saw a connector just hanging and I’m curious if anyone can help me figure out what it would go to?!

Hey so i installed a new clutch in my bike literally 2 days ago. I tested my bike's top speed out and it only tops out at 140? I doubt i installed it wrong because i did my research on it. But can someone help me.

Need help with ECM issues

So i bought a 1999 R6 that ran great when i bought it. After a while it had trouble starting and had gas in the oil. So i rebuilt the carbs, but now im having the problem where it is stuttering bad at 10K RPM. But after a moment it jumps up and rides like normal. Im lost so anything helps

Life has brought me back to two wheels but this time im rebuilding a classic. Its my 99R6. I have it all back together, rebuilt thw carb but not sure if the guts in there should be there lol. Main jets are#40, cant read the others, kept everything carb specific as far as location so i didn't mix them up, can anyone explain how to set the carb back to stock so I can move forward with the correct upgrades? I think something is off, screws out 2- 21/4 turns and i can get it to idle, but when... Howdy folks, new member here.

Hey R6 riders! I’m chasing a persistent Error Code 46 on my 2006 R6, which points to a problem with the charging/power supply system. So far I’ve checked/replaced quite a few things: New battery New TourMax regulator/rectifier Stator tested at around 20V AC at idle and ~90V AC at 5,000 rpm The three stator wires going to the regulator were starting to burn, so I removed the connector and hardwired all three wires Checked the charging system wiring as best I can... Error Code 46 but checked everything ?
